HIFIMAN SUNDARA Hi-Fi Headphone with 3.5mm Connectors, Planar Magnetic, Comfortable Fit with Updated Earpads-Black, 2020 Version

I purchased these headphones earlier this year. They are absolutely brilliant headphones. My go to headphones were my B&W P9 Signature which I loved. The Sundara out perform them in many ways. First you need a headphone amp to get the best out these phones. Secondly they sound their best with some EQ. I listen to them in a portable set up at home. I have them connected to my Chord Mojo to my Android phone. I have replaced the cables with Koala Cables. I am using Gothic Audio pure silver otg usb c cable. My music app is USB Audio Player Pro. I've gone into the settings and selected Morphlt and looked up my EQ setting for Hifiman Sundara. Also set it on Bit-perfect. The sound from my music library is wonderful. Looking to upgrade my headphone amp for the ifi ids Signature in the furture.These headphones are a best buy to enter the audiophile domain.

these are a significant upgrade from my sennheiser btnc 4.50. although the sennheisers have an emphasis on the bass, the bass on the sundaras is way more defined and punchier even with the roll off.
