I've been taking D3 supplements for several months now. I work in a closed office environment with very few windows, so I don't get the chance to produce it naturally from sunlight. This has forced me to become Vitamin D deficient and after over a year of wondering why I was unusually depressed, tired and sore, I started to consider whether my nutrient intake was an issue. I tried some other things that didn't help (Omega 3s, eating more vegetables, etc.) and finally stumbled on Vitamin D. I didn't start with this brand of Vitamin D, but I wish I had! These pills are are absolutely TINY, as you can see from the picture I took. Not one massive tablet (or several), just a single tiny softgel. I'm glad I no longer have to swallow those over-sized, stiff pills every morning. These are also easy to absorb, so I don't have to worry that most of what I'm taking is getting wasted. Solid product from a solid company. Will definitely start putting these on subscription!

Pure Micronutrients Vitamin D3 5000 IU is a great Vitamin D3 product. It is an easily absorbed Vitamin D3, in the most commonly recommended form cholecalciferol. The softgels are very small, easy to swallow and have no flavor, after taste, or burping issues. Even my child take this without an issues, because of its small size. This product is a great value for its quality. Vitamin D is crucial for many things, but in winter we are not able to make it naturally, so quality supplementation in needed. Vitamin D3 has kept my family healthier in the winters, because of its immunity boosting effects. Pure D3 5000 IU will help you stay healthy this winter.

I have not taken vitamin D3 in years. My memory of Vitamin D pills is that they were big and chalky for a tablet, or just plain big. These are so tiny, they're a breeze to swallow. No taste whatsoever. I have been taking them for almost 3 weeks. In that time I have noticed a reduction in joint pain in my hands. They're a bit pricier than other 5000 IU, but if they're considerably smaller than others it might be worth it. Also, I'd prefer a vegetarian friendly gel. But if that's not an issue for you, I'd definitely recommend.

Unlike the regular egg shaped Vitamin D you've always taken (which is typically olive oil based), these don't add that in, which is nice. I also noticed that they have flax seed, which I like. And they're still small. Other than that, they're vitamin D, so there's not much else to say.

I take a lot of supplements and frequently change brands to see if I can get the same amount of benefit in a smaller package i.e. can I take 1 pill instead of 2 or more and still get the same dosage. I also worry if I am truly benefitting from all these supplements; is my body really taking in all these vitamins? Decided to give this brand of Vitamin D a try because it's a higher dosage (5000IU) in one pill. The description also mentions that it is highly absorbable, so I figured that my body has a better chance of receiving and utilizing this sunshine vitamin. I have attached a picture of my current brand (white pill 2000IU) and the Pure D3 capsule. Both are small, but the capsule is very easy to swallow and doesn't get stuck or feel chalky like pills sometimes do! Something else that I haven't actively looked for in my supplements -- this product says that it is Non-GMO. Definitely something I will be checking in the future!

My doctor said my Vitamin D levels were very low, so I ordered a bottle of Pure D3 5000IU to bring them up before the flu season. I have been taking them for a few weeks. They are small and easy to swallow. I don’t notice any taste. There are 120 softgels in the bottle so it will last 4 months. I expect better test results at my next checkup.
