Where do i find the model number to compare?

You can go to the manufacturer website for the fridge, and find the replacement part, if it’s pretty old it might not have the same model, but I used the new part number was on the list and made sure it was the same style and general size of this part I ordered. It’s worked great.

Will this timer work for WR09X29252?

If you're changing timers and it's not the defrost thermostat and your timer is bad you have to match up the duration this is a 6 hour 21 minute it's an unusual timer you just have to find a timer that's the same shape and has the same hour and minutes that stamped on yours such as 8 hour 25 minutes sometimes you could substitute them but it's smarter to get the exact one there's always existing timers for $20 or less you just have to get the hours and the minutes the same and make sure it's the same shape
