I bought this necklace to replace a sterling silver chain I had broken, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The box chain is delicate but still feels strong, and the lobster clasp is secure and easy to use. It has a nice shine and looks great on its own or paired with a pendant. The quality feels solid for everyday wear. For the price, this was a great replacement option and I’m really happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a simple, reliable sterling silver chain.

This chain is beautiful and durable. I have a two-year-old granddaughter that likes to twirl it and pull it and play with it and it’s held up well. great quality. Very comfortable my previous chain always pulled the hair at the back of my neck and this one never has.

EDIT - Alright so my full original review that I left a few days ago is below. A few hours after I posted it, someone contacted me and told me that it was indeed a defect and that he was sending me 2 replacement chains (one is a bit thicker than the other). I've had the chain on for about 15 hours now, I've been adjusting the pendant like normal, and it is holding up excellently. Still looks great and feels perfect! Just wanted to let everyone know that this is indeed a great purchase and their customer service is top-notch. ORIGINAL (had given 1 star) - I ordered this because the clasp of the necklace I had been wearing for over a year broke. I still love the pendant so my solution was to buy a new chain for it. I came home from work yesterday and put this on, and I absolutely loved it. The chain is light and elegant, it doesn't yank on the little hairs on the nape of my neck, and it looks beautiful. It even came with a cute little "emergency kit" that included earring backs, a polishing square, and jewelry bags. However, later that evening, I was simply adjusting the pendant on the chain while it was around my neck. I wasn't being the slightest bit rough with it and there was zero yanking. But the chain just broke in the middle. I don't know if I just got a defective chain or what, but this sucks because it really was a very nice chain. Just wish it had lasted longer than a few hours.

It was a great chain, the 30ish length was perfect because I have trouble with clasps. I wore a small pendant on it and wore it everyday. The material was perfect and didn’t flare up my allergies at all. But after only 5 months the chain snapped. Granted I do have a toddler who yanks on it so it probably would have lasted much longer otherwise.

The chain for my small pendant broke, so I wanted a thin, delicate, and strong chain to replace it. I bought the 16" chain from the seller, Media Productions, and I have to say... I am extremely impressed by both the quality and the service from this seller. When I got the package, I was pleasantly surprised by all the extras that were included: 1) Care instructions for sterling silver 2) About 4-5 extra zipped bags for storing your other sterling silver jewelry 3) An anti-tarnish tab to keep inside one of the store baggies The chain itself was nicely packaged inside a zipped bag (for protection) and further placed inside a shiny box. The chain is genuine 925 sterling silver—it has a tiny stamp on the clasp, just like in the product photos. Because the chain is .8mm, it has the delicacy I was looking for, but is still very durable. The clasp has proved to be very strong so far. Trust me—I am constantly taking my necklace on/off when I shower, workout, and go to sleep. It's still holding strong. Also, 16" is the perfect length for me. I love it! It's exactly what I wanted. And best of all, the price is *amazing* for the quality and the extras you get. Highly, highly recommended if you need a silver replacement chain!

This is a really nice chain for hanging a pendant. It’s a pretty, shiny box-chain which I like better than other types of necklace chains. The sellers included anti-tarnish strips for the silver and a nice jewelry pouch, as well as instructions for keeping your silver from tarnishing/cleaning tarnish from it. I also received a nice email from the seller with info on cleaning and their support number, etc. But, I accidentally unsubscribed from it because the email had this unlabeled link...which I assumed would lead to their online store...it was an unsubscribe link. Oops! Another thing is, I mistakenly bought the 16-inch chain, which is pretty darn short. It hangs just below my collar bone, as you can see in the picture with my own pendant on it. So I will probably order this chain again but in a longer length. My advice: measure a chain you already have that you feel is the right length for you and then select that length to purchase, instead of guessing. This is a beautiful piece of sterling silver jewelry. Once I get the right size I will wear it often with my silver keepsake pendants.

Not what I expected. The picture of advertising it. Was deceptive, The photo looked much larger. When I received it looks so small and tiny. Not properly shown in the photo. Photo was enhanced to make it look much larger. Very disappointed.

I love this chain. It’s perfect for an heirloom piece that is expensive and delicate. 30 inches long , I like to put necklaces on over the head not fiddling with the clasp as my hand are arthritic. The price is unbelievable. The similar silver chain at The Bay store is $159.00, And yours is much prettier. This is the third one we have bought and now my source for them.
