So I have been looking at this for a while I have seen other cheaper ones on other platforms but decided that cheap is not good and good is not cheap. So I went with this one and I’m glad I did. This trimmer works great I love it. I have thin hair long layers and it made my hair look like I went and got it professionally trimmed. I recommend this product.

I was very nervous to use this for the first time. I watched several videos on youtube and got the general gist of how to use it so I was pretty sure that it would suit my needs. I got my order very quickly. The packaging was secure tho the outside box was fairly trashed and even open on one side. Nothing was damaged and the original packaging seemed to be in perfect condition. Few things. It is not as loud as people on the web say. It is NOT like using a lawnmower on your hair. If anything it cuts very little. Almost too little, but it did exactly what I wanted it to do which was to get rid of all the scraggily hair bits. I still have my layers and my hair is softer and smoother. I wish it evened out the ends more, but that is not what this product does. It was fairly pricey, but not all that unexpected for a hair tool. It was easy to use and with my thin hair it took about 30 mins to do all of it. The sections have to be fairly thin but not crazy tiny and it will pull and break hair if you get impatient and grab more hair than fits. I also wish the actual hair cutting plate was bigger for more sections but I understand that you are actually cutting your hair, so less it is. I think overall this will work if you go to the hairdressers and get a proper hair cut then use this in the interim. I'm happy I bought it and will continue to use it.

I watched so many videos reviewing this product and on most of them were good reviews, so I purchase this product and honestly DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, it doesn't cut the splits ends, just cuts all ends and it make my split ends even worse, the ends that didn't have splits it make them to split. I fallowed the instructions exactly as it said. and after trying it on a little section of my hair. I notice that I had more split ends than what I used to have, so I did another section of hair, I tought that my hair was already like that. so I try another section but this time I checked it before, I just had few split ends. after I finish that section I checked it and I had even more split ends. so after this I was hesitating on returning the item bc I thought that it was something wrong with my hair or that I did something wrong, so I re-read the instructuction and I was doing everything right, so I decide to return the item, when I was cleaning it I notice that non of the hair that were cut were split ends, so it was making my hair even worse and it wasn't removing my split ends. (my hair is thick and I have my natural hair color I havent dye my hair in 4 years so is not that damaged.

I do actually like the split ender. I’ve been looking for one for a long time. It cuts just like it should. My only issue is the plastic cover doesn’t stay put very well, and when you grip to close it doesn’t like to close, even with very little hair, I have to pinch the end to get it to go. Otherwise it works just fine.

10/10 would recommend, honestly I was a little worried about sticking my hair in a twisting machine with a blade but honestly the results speak for themselves. I also have a layered cut and having a product that can help trim 1/4-1/8 inch off each layer and prevent split ends is such a relief. A must have.

I have coarse hair and normally get my hair trimmed every 6 - 8 weeks to help with the damaged ends. I thought this product would finally allow me to trim off just the ends at home and thus allow me to grow out my hair. Pros: nice packaging. Clear instructions. Cons: I have 2 main issues with this. First, it actually created some split ends with some passes (the kind that look brushy and spiky at the end). I don't know if that was user error because it only happened like 5 times out of the dozens of times I ran it over my hair. Second, the little hairs escape from the holder and get all over the place. Overall, it did more good than harm, and I will try to keep using it.

I love this! I'm often too busy to schedule regular hair trimmings, and I'm also trying to grow out my hair so this was really enticing. I'm so glad I took the plunge! It takes off so little compared to a hairdresser, but has helped my hair feel and look much better. The instructions are clear as day, you really do need to process smaller sections of hair than one might think. I've even used it on our daughter's hair and she found the experience quite comfortable (she's 3). This will pay for itself within a few months, I'm very happy with it!

I had to think about this purchase because I think it’s relatively pricey. I purchased it because I have dry ends because I have a lot of highlights in my hair. This prevents me of having to cut my hair often, especially now that I want grow my hair. It is very easy to use, you just have to follow the instructions and use thin strands of hair. This will save me at least two or three haircuts a year.

I have below-shoulder length hair that has been chemically treated (straightened via keratin treatment). Most of my hair is in healthy condition but my ends were gross, I could barely run a brush through them. This was a super easy way to trim the very ends of my hair which were split and dry. I didn't find it complicated at all. I now look like I have a fresh haircut and my ends are clean and I can run my fingers through them. I figure since this will replace multiple haircuts it is worth the money.

I received a different product brand and color, I'm really disappointed how people use images for good brands then send a cheap product. This is not professional.

Now i dont look homeless anymore:) does wonders for my hair and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with split ends or dry looking long hair.
