This is good stuff.it is safe for the rubber parts and works great on caliper slide pins, also is good to apply to back of brake pads so they dont make noise. Shipped quickly.

Excellent product, you really can't go wrong. Don't use the grease that ships with parts in little condiment packets. Use this stuff. We have harsh winters here. When I take apart the brakes the next year, this stuff is still doing its job, although I reapply it. Because it's silicone based, I've also used this on polyurethane bushings when the grease that ships with them isn't enough. No issues.

Very easy to apply and did a brake job with zero brake noise right off the bat. Many reputable mechanic shops recommend this and I can see why. I used this on the back of the pads, caliper piston faces, EPB drive spindle & o-ring, and caliper slide pins. I tried a different product for the pad guides.

This is a good product for a good price. This is a must if you are a backyard mechanic and do your own disc brake work. This is for the slide pins only or, a little on the clips for noise reduction. Never put any kind of grease on the pads or rotor. Also, never us regular grease, it will not stand up to the heat, brake grease only on disc brakes. Hope this is informative, we all learn as we go.

The lubricant works as expected

Went on really thick but spreading it on the caliper pins it slicked up really quick. Seems to be good stuff.

This worked great. It's not overly messy at all. I used it to quiet my squeaky brakes after a month since replacing the brake pads only, so I removed the caliper and pads, cleaned them, then put the Sil-Glyde on them. This did the trick without going to replacing the pads and rotors at this time.

It was amazing. The sound of my brake is gone .

Used this for changing my brakes, since its silicon its safe to use with the boot pin as it wont cut the plastic/rubber like other compounds.

Good stuff from what the reviews say across the interweb. Time will tell once I go back in there for my seasonal brake maintenance. Other grease I have used would “muck up” and seize the guide slide pins to point I would have to torch them free.
