GIGABYTE Z490 AORUS Xtreme with 16 Phases Digital VRM with Intel Thunderbolt 3, Essential USB DAC, Intel Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, AQUANTIA 10GbE LAN, Intel 2.5GbE LAN

Bow 🙇 down to the Master! This thing is an absolute Beast! The top of the line Gaming motherboard from Aorus which beats everything hands down. The only better Aorus motherboard I could find was the Extreme Waterforce which is liquid cooled and 2x the price. Very happy with the performance except for a slight scare which is described as follows. This motherboard comes with a single 2.5 Gbe Intel Lan which can be a problem. There have been known issues with this Lan and Intel + Gigabyte have been releasing patches for it since early January 2020. After 15-20 days of use, one day my lan suddenly stopped getting detected. Tried everything, installed Gigabyte / Intel driver but nothing helped. The Lan was not deteein BIOS and the Mac Address was showing as N/A. I was planning to do an RMA but contacted Gigabyte Support first and they asked me to pull the CMOS battery out, short the Clr CMOS header and boom the lan was magically back. I have updated my BIOS to F7a and there have been bo issues since then. F5 and F6 BIOS are buggy and I was not even able to boot into BIOS with F5 so had no option but to update it. It was a big scare but glad that Gigabyte support help me sort out the issues. If and only if Gigabyte added an extra 1Gbe Lan port to this board, it would undoubtedly be the best Z490 board in the market. Boards like Vision D which are cheaper, come with mutiple LANs and that's unfortunate. However, apart from this there haven't been any issues. Been using this flawlessly and over-clocking my i9 10900k. Didn't have issues running my Trident GSkill RAM at 3600mhz as well. The LAN issue isn't a deal breaker and will go away with more stable BIOS and drivers in the future. Overall this board is a killer.

Delivery : On 17th August 2020.I would say the outer Amazon box did not contain any padding or waterproof cover.During this time Amazon is providing worst packaging,they did not even think twice of the heavy rainy season and the product they are delivering. Product : The product was in perfect condition as I thought that heavy rains could have affected the packaging.It is brand new product with manufacturing date of July 2020. Performance : As I tested this motherboard GIGABYTE Aorus Pro AX,there was not a single flaw that I could come up with.I tested it day and night for stability without overclocking my Intel Core i7-10700k.Everything works perfectly.This is my first Gigabyte motherboard, previously I owned an Asus X99 Deluxe 2,which was not a great choice.Gigabyte BIOS is superb and is very stable in contrast to my X99.Without OC I hit 4.80 GHz easy.My RAM has XMP 2.0 but I tested everything without OC.As for OC I need very good and new AIO liquid cooler because my CM Nepton 240M is already 5 Years old.The load time is 7.4 secs only.Motherboard is very durable and heat dissipation is good.But according to me X99 had better onboard Audio Chip.Even running Intel processor diagnostic tool,which generally is a preferred software for Intel processor health status software,the temps were almost to 70°C only.The capacitor quality is good.I did not like the SATA cables that came in the box with this motherboard.Also the Pin headers are reverse of what you can find on an ASUS board.RGB is not too much and not gimmicky like nowadays people look for in products.I think RGB in any PC component is "GARBAGE" addition.I am running a ASUS GTX 960 4GB OC GPU on this mobo.Games like - GTA V on High settings and V Sync(on) on 1080p,run at 60 FPS solid Watchdogs 2 - High settings - Vsync(off) - 55 to 69 FPS Sid Meiers Civilization 6 - High Settings - 60 FPS stable CSGO on 1080p everything maxed out settings run - 180-200 FPS .(for CSGO I need a good GPU now LOL) Verdict : I will definitely suggest this motherboard if you want to upgrade to Z490 platform.But if you want i9-10900k maybe buy AORUS MASTER,because the higher is your chip quality the higher quality mobo you want go buy for it.This AORUS PRO AX can handle any 10th gen chip great as well.It has got WiFi 6 too.There is no need to OC your chip unless you have a good electricity coverage in your area without any power outages.If on OC and power goes out,your PC suffers hard. **PLEASE CHECK THE IMAGES ATTACHED**

Box wasn't taped properly and wifi antenna was missing. Would highly recommend against this vendor.

Gigabyte motherboards are feature-rich and durable. I purchased a Gigabyte Z490 Vision D motherboard for a much lesser price from another online store thevaluestore.in. This motherboard has thunderbolt support and a Gigabit LAN port in addition to the usual one. The Z490 series motherboards are PCI 4.0 hardware ready and expected to support Intel's 11th gen rocket-lake processor with PCIe 4.0 capabilities.
