Intex Above Ground Pool Maintenance Kit with Vacuum and Pole

I bought an above ground pool that was on sale. It wasn't until I started putting it together for my nephews that I realized I needed more than just water and shock. Skimming the fallen leacves was simple, but I began to notice the debris settled on the bottom. It was only a 10 by 30 inch pool, so I didn't need to go elaborate. Simple would suffice, and this serves the job. I was able to clean the floor with the hose and vacuum attachment in minutes. Being that I lose a few gallons when they are playing, I am able to fill the pool again while collecting at the same time. I left it in one place and watched as some debris was sucked into the bag, but it was easier to run it back and forth to gather the visible particle. Easy to assemble and clean as well. The pole is long enough that I can clean about 70% of the area from one spot. Worth the price.

This is perfect for small inflatable pools or hot tubs .. The vacuum worked ok..and the skimmer and other attachments came on and off easily. The length adjustment was nice.And skimmer did its job. For the price. It was a great deal. I have small 4’ round inflatable pool and this was perfect for it.

I read the reviews before purchasing this product and it helped greatly. For the price, this vacuum gets the job done! Picked up large debris that was at the bottom of my pool great! For the small sand though, it did not. BUT since I read the reviews before hand I tried a few things and was able to solve this issue easily. I took 3 socks and placed them inside each other, and then placed the socks inside the bag that the vacuum came with. For attaching it onto the vacuum itself, I simply put the opening of the socks over the area where you would place the bag and then placed the bag over the socks and tied it tightly. That's it! quick and simple, just make sure you go pretty slow while vacuuming out the little stuff and this thing works like a charm!

The length of the pole works well to reach anywhere in a 10' Intex above-ground circular pool. The pole bends a bit if you move it too fast so being mindful of the force you use is recommended, not a problem so far though. The screen is tight enough to pick up most or maybe all visible items. The vacuum works well and is needed because the pole and screen method does not pull up items from the floor. Worked well after a lot of rain caused tree debris to get into the pool. I have had it for about 10 days and have used the vacuum once and screen each of the approx 5 days of use in that period. I would buy this again and feel the cost ($33ish) is a good value. I also have a 1000 GPH intext filter pump that works quite well. And added a mineral (copper and something else) stick inside the filter to combat germs electrostatically, and use Shock weekly and a chlorine tablet in float container. I check the the free Chlorine, pH and Alkalinity each day of use and so far have maintained a good balance. I added some baking soda to increase alkalinity. After having the pool for a month, and seeing the water flow had basically stopped, I recently replaced the pool filter for the first time; it had green algae on parts of it and some debris. Update 2: 10 micron sock was good but still noticed a small cloud of silt when vacuuming. This is the real deal fix for this product. 1 micron filter socks. Here is a solution that might work better. I tried old socks, tee shirts and upright vacuum filters until I discovered aquarium filter socks at 200 microns did a good job but didn't remove the finest if silt. Last week I found this filter bag at 5 microns (the smaller micron rating the smaller particles it will remove) 5 micron is about the finest you can get and with the size of this bag at 14" long the flow rate is still good enough to pick even the large pieces. The price on Amazon is under $10. I zip-tie it to the vacuum each time for a secure hold and will now have a sparkling clean pool. Does a good job picking up large debris but the screen is similar to a skim net. After a month I noticed fine particles at the bottom of the pool and would get cloudy when someone was swimming. A vacuum that works with the pool paper filter I believe is the best option. If they had a paper filter attachment for this I would give it 5 stars.

Interesting and cheaply priced product that actually works for the most part. Any reading of the product reviews quickly exposes this products Achilles heel. That is, the collecting bag which comes with the unit. I didn't even try to use it. The mesh is too porous and as others have pointed out the bag will fail before too long. It would get the larger particles but that fine stuff would just pass right through it and redeposit it as fine silt on the pond bottom over and over again. I have been using another great filter product instead which can be bought on Amazon which makes this cheap little tool really quite wonderful and effective. You will have to remove the sewn on plastic collar but after that you have a heavy duty and working unit which ties right on with zero problems.. This picked up (and retained) all those really fine particles that the other bag just passed through. The Aqueon's are heavy duty and are rinsable and even washable. I think they even make a 100 micron bag but 200 micron seems to do the job, just fine. A great little tool with this modification.

This vacuum works great! It works even better than the one that came with my pool. That one I had broke so I had to find another. I tried one other one that went through the filter, but it kept falling apart. This one never looses suction and unless you have a great amount of debris in your pool you don't have to clean the bag out but maybe once. It will pick up leaves and pine needles as well as anything else that size or smaller. I was worried that it would add allot of cold water to the pool and lower the temperature, but it doesn't. My well is over 300 feet deep and the water comes out ice cold, but no problem. It is super easy to put together and use. Then only problem I had was the bag staying on sometimes. So I solved that by putting a heavy rubber band over the tube that you tie the bag onto and then slipping it over the bag. One person complained that it broke when you scrubbed the bottom of the pool, but my response to that is, like any vacuum it's not meant for scrubbing. The bristles on the bottom are there to pull items up into the vacuum. I have had it a couple of month now and used it several time without any problems. I agonized over which vacuum to get. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this, especially for the price.

Bought this product for cleaning a 10 ft. x 30 in. blow-up pool. It FAR exceeded my expectations! Very much worth the $20 to not have to empty and re-fill every time there's dirt on the bottom! I was amazed at the cleaning job it did! The only (minor) issue is that the hose is on while vacuuming, so it fills the pool in the process. Not too serious, as the kids splash it out, or I scoop it out so it doesn't exceed the 'fill' line on the blow-up rim. Well worth it for the price!

In short: It does what it says without any issues. Very satisfied, cleaned a 10 ft pool in 10 minutes. I recommend it.

Non avendo una pompa filtro con ricircolo ho dovuto optare per questa soluzione che immette acqua nella piscina ma ha un grande potere aspirante. Ovviamente adatto a piscine di piccole dimensioni.

we are so happy with this purchase! It works so easy and quick, it picks up the dirt from the ground of the pool so easy and doesn’t miss one piece! Before we had that it would literally take at least an hour or more to stir up the dirt and get it with a regular skimmer. Anyone having a pool would be crazy not to make this purchase. It is easy to set up, use and store definitely five stars on this.👍🏼
