DEWALT DXF2042 Industrial Fan, 20 Inch High Velocity Fans with 3-Speed Adjustable Tilting Head, Drum Fan for Outdoor, House and Warehouse, Yellow

I have three of these fans. Two in my hangar and one in my garage. They are typical of DeWalt in delivering thoughtful design and manufacturing quality. Plus, they move a large volume of air for their size and power consumption. Two potential downsides are that the fan is relatively loud at high settings and the fan body is made of heavy gauge steel which makes it heavier than similar fans.

Love the fan. Love the way you can control the speed. Easy to move around. Only thing was they forgot to send the wheels. Had to go through the company to order them but there was no charge so happy about that.

Not sure about others that complain about noise. Very acceptable on mis-speed, puts out the expected air volume. This is handy, stable and works as advertised.

This will be our last fan. Its perfect...Love the tilt feature and this thing is heavy duty!!

This fan is moves an absolutely impressive amount of air for its size. Thing is, it doesn't like to point up because the drum collides with the frame. It also arrived bent and I had to disassemble the fan and hammer out the dent in the drum as well as hammer out the dent and bend in the frame. This isn't DeWalt's fault. It got damaged either in shipping or in storage at Amazon. I don't have a way of returning it since all I have are motorcycles and can't really bring something this size on my bike to a shipping center, hence the DIY repair on the brand new fan. Still, it's not entirely silent. The fan makes a 60 hz hum any time it's on. It's not actually the blades making the hum, it's the power supply circuitry.

Easy assembly. Great air velocity. I really like the variable speed control. It is much quieter then others ive had. Highly recommended!!!

First off, I really liked this fan. It moved a lot of air and helped keep my shop tolerable. Unfortunately, it stopped working after 11 months. Now, any product can have a bad individual item, and yes I am very likely to get the one that is not up to par. I have no problems with that. And, I would not have written a bad review had I received proper support. The fan has a 5 year warranty, so it is well within the time frame. The problem I have is lack of service. Trying to find help on Amazon's site is virtually impossible. I finally worked my way to a distributor that ships for Amazon. Guess what.... I was directed back to Amazon, which we all know is a waste of time. Then I get an email from Amazon wanting to know if I received satisfactory resolution. There were a few questions, that was it. No place to give an explanation. So I did what a reasonable person would do, I replied to the email. Well, that was like farting into the wind. Next email says it is not a receive email page, and directed me back to...., you guessed it, the Amazon website. And, when you click on the options, you get sent to the regular sales pages. I am so frustrated it is beyond belief. Man I wish there was an option for another company that offered virtually any item you could ever need, that competed evenly with Amazon.

Another awesome DeWalt product! Wanted a powerful drum fan for the garage and was thrilled to find one by DeWalt. As expected it is of a high quality; feels solid and made to last. Some assembly was required for the wheels and stoppers on the base, but the fit of the pieces was easy and seamless. Phillips screw driver for the stoppers, and socket for the wheels. All hardware included. Has a dial for speed which is nice to customize your cooling, a sturdy handle, easy to roll wheels, a long cord, and a built in cord storage on the control unit. Well made, well thought out, functional, looks great with the DeWalt colors too. I expect to use it to cool off while working for many years to come. Why did you pick this product vs others?: DeWalt makes quality products, and it was the size I need.

Excellent achat, je l’ai acheté pour sortir l’air de ma chambre ou est mon air climatisé, efficace et peu bruyant pour sa grosseur.

Fonctionne très bien! Reçu dans sa boîte originale et en bon état! Très puissant, pour le prix. Pas de problème jusqu'à présent! Nous l'utilisons pour assécher nos fondations qui ont des infiltrations d'eau. Avec ce ventilateur, les fondations peuvent sécher et diminuer l'infiltration de l'eau dans les fortes pluies. On le recommande.

Excelente producto, es importante considerar el espacio en que se necesite, por que es un ventilador industrial y no es tan silencioso. Su potencia es buena y aminora la sensación de calor bastante. Gracias!
