Rainbow Sandals Men's Double Layer Soft Top 1" EVA Rubber Filled Nylon Strap

My Double-Layer Rainbow Sandals are bar-none, the absolute best sandals I've ever purchased. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical of the incredibly positive reviews but I can say with confidence that I am a convert to Rainbow Sandals. Usually, new sandals fit snuggly for the first week, maybe 10 days, then the customary low-quality construction starts to kick in and the the snug fit gives way to slack, lose straps which usually won't last more than 4 to 6 months. I've had my Rainbow's now for nearly a month and a half and the snug fit is nearly as taut as the day I first wore them THE GREAT - Extreme comfort and very soft for my Double-Layer Rainbow making it difficult to want to wear shoes after a weekend with these on your feet - Near-perfect fit just slightly smaller. My 11-12 size order are perfect for my size 11 and they fit like a glove - Although the straps were just a tad on the tight side, I would not reorder in a larger size, preferring the snug fit - Excellent traction surfaces with non-slip soles and grippy tops even when wet - Great to know your purchase is made using recycled materials COMMENTS (There is no Bad) - The Double-Layer sandals may feel a bit tallish for the few who prefer better stability to whom I would recommend the single-layer sandals - Pricey sandals but worth it. I will buy again. - Stickers, stickers - come on Rainbow, you can put all the stickers you want on the sandals but PLEASE USE REMOVABLE GLUE. The "size" stickers are nearly impossible to remove from the heel so I'll let them wear off! Sure, I can use Goo-Gone but then my sandals will be slippery with the oily residue

I have been wearing rainbow sandals for the last 20 years. Double soul premium leather is my go to sandal from rainbow. I always have that old pair in case I need to do something that involves getting my feet really wet. I decided to purchase these rubber sold sandals and they're great. The texture of the sandal is grippy but for me and my feet after a while that texture starts to hurt the bottom of my foot. This is just a small price to pay for the amazing craftsmanship of the quality products being used to make the sandal. Rainbow sandals might be more expensive than others but the amount of use you're going to get out of these sandals is completely worth it. I wear my sandals on a daily basis and it's normal for me to get a year and a half or more of use before I start thinking about getting a new pair. I especially like the color variation in the soul of the sandal.

Flip flops right! Put them on and I’ve lived in them ever since. I have walked MILES in them. No joke seriously no blisters either. Played in the water with them and they held up great. We love rainbows right I mean why else do we keep buying them. My old leather ones took a couple semi painful weeks to break in. These broke in in less than 5 minutes. They basically made a soft thick nylon weave strap that’s incredibly durable and really functional. By them wear them love them.

Fits perfect for high arch. Double soul is the way to go for longer lasting comfort. They are a little more soft than single layer. At first the strap is tight but get them wet and stretch them. I wear a size 11-11 1/2 men’s and these fit perfectly at size Large. XL is way too big I already tried.

I've always worn the leather Rainbows and was concerned with the rubber top. Glad I decided to move forward with the purchase I feel the same durability, comfort, and quality I am accustomed to with the Rainbow brand of sandals. Would purchase again.

I got these sandals for my husband who wears a size 14, first off these sandals are huge, he's got about 3 to 4 fingers space in the back, they look too big, also my husband said the cloth that goes between his toes hurt and the straps rubbed the top of his foot wrong which resulted in a blister, the sandals in general are good quality and as described they're just too big in my opinion.

I purchased these at the same time as a leather soled version, and while both are impressively comfortable, I can tell the leather ones will require some break-in time to really be great. These rubber ones were immediately squishy soft and yet supportive with that nice arch. I honestly still can't believe I purchased two pairs of $50 sandals, but these days (barely leave home due to Covid) it's my primary footwear, and I do not regret it! The consistently glowing reviews and fantastic warranty, and now my own experience have made me a fan. Update: 11 months later - These sandals are still squishy and soft, and have definitely molded to my feet for a fantastic fit. However, after less than a full year of wear, I'm already seeing indications that I've begin to wear through the top layer of the footbed, as the lighter layer below it is starting to show through where the ball of my foot rests. For such a pricey pair of rubber flip-flops, I had higher hopes than that for durability! That being said, they are still comfortable, and I'm still wearing them... so now, we'll just have to see how quickly their condition declines from this point. That will help me decide whether I feel like it was a fair purchase or a ripoff.

I’ve been a hardcore Rainbow Sandals fan for 28 years. I used to buy them for myself and as gifts because friends wearing cheap sandals always came back asking for Rainbows. For decades, the classic leather and durable rubber build stood up to daily wear year-after-year — easily 12–18 + months of everyday use. What’s Changed: Rainbow’s soles used to be made with very durable, firm rubber that resisted wear. The newer soles are softer rubber, and while they feel comfy at first, they wear down much faster. • Old Rainbows = ~1 year+ of daily use • New Rainbows = ~3–4 months of the same wear = big downgrade Overall: Still iconic and comfortable, but the recent shift in sole material means they no longer last like they used to. If you’re a full-time flip-flop wearer, it’s frustrating — and I’m now searching for a new go-to brand because these don’t hold up anymore.

I liked that sole is really solid, but unfortunately, the point where is the strip between toes is to far away from the edge, therefore, your heel is moved back, much more and toes are far away from the front edge. I tried 2XL size, than the heel is out of the sole (toes also far away from the front edge), but with 3XL size heel is on the sole, but almost 1" free space in front of the toes, than it is very tricky to walk. Shape of the sole somehow not esthetic. Build quality - good. Anyhow, a bit more expensive than one pair of flipflops should be. And... it is listed as woman's fliflop of "giant" size... rather to be named unisex?
