Great range, solid performance.
I'm bedridden and have tried several cheap (<$10) wireless mice so I can at least do *something* on the computer without having to move it right next to the bed or create a tangle of cables. In spite of claims of range, most didn't work farther than a few feet (1m) from the dongle, even through open air. Previous "solution" was to use a USB extension cable and a bent coat hanger to hold the dongle up and away from the computer case which gave me *almost* enough range with the best mouse. I still had to hold the mouse up in the air sometimes to get/regain a signal. Then I purchased this mouse. Dongle plugged into the *back* of the computer. Mouse sitting by me on the bed blocked from view of the computer by my body. Perfect connection, silky smooth movement, and nary a missed click. I've used wired mice that aren't this reliable. I wonder if this company makes wireless keyboards. Edit: One minor complaint. The mouse powers down automatically after a while to save the battery. To turn it back on, you have to click a mouse button. This click gets sent through to the computer, selecting items or changing settings or even closing programs, depending on where the cursor was left when the mouse powered down. Minor problem, but a separate "wake" button would prevent this. Leaving the rating at 5 stars because it performs so well otherwise.

Works really good!
I bought this mouse (along with a 25 foot HDMI video cable) so I could access my security system DVR. This DVR is about 15 feet (3 meters) away from where the mouse is operated. On top of that the DVR is up on a shelf so the mouse's USB receiver is actually behind the DVR up on the shelf (7 feet up). I bought a USB extension cable in case I needed to locate the receiver closer to where I am using the mouse, but really don't need it. No problem at this distance and through the shelf around the back of the DVR. As for the size, it is slightly smaller in length than my PC mouse, but the same in width and a little higher, so it is actually comfortable. I just installed it today so I don't know what the battery life is. However, it uses a very common "AA" battery and I have a pile of them for other items. Bottom line is it does what I need it to do so I feel it is a great value at a great cost saving (much, much less than a Logitech or Microsoft "extended range" mouse).

DO
This mouse was DOA. Wanted to use it on a DVR to avoid cabling but could not get it to respond. Thought it might be compatibility or battery issues but tried multiple working batteries and computers with no response from the mouse. There was never any light from the optical portion after plugging in the USB despite trying every mouse button. Per other reviews, this mouse wakes from hibernation through mouse clicks, but nothing worked. Tried multiple batteries from other functional devices, and tried on computers just in case it was an issue with the DVR SW, but it never responded. Optical mice should show light when functional, and as this never did in any attempted configuration I can only assume it was not functional from the factory.

Works well across the room.
I bought this for its reported usefulness at a distance from the device it's being used with. This wireless mouse works great 20 feet away from the computer.

Almost perfect so far
I don't like to write reviews too early on but... I gotta admit so far I'm pretty happy with this mouse. No problems yet. The feel of it took some getting used to as it is a rather small mouse but it wasn't that bad. I have only had it about a month so I hope I am not jinxing myself speaking too soon. But yeah its great. Fair warning... I've had one like this before. If you have to move and unplug your computer for any reason, you are going to want to unplug the usb adapter for this. If you don't you are risking ruining it and short circuiting it So... if you ever have to unplug your computer unplug this too. I did have the power go out a few times and luckily the mouse still works, so maybe that was only a problem with the other one I had but just to be safe. Do it.

Works great!
Got this, looking for the cheapest long range mouse I could find on Amazon. It came packaged like something from the dollar store. I was worried, but it's working like a champ! We use it on the bed as our remote-mouse for the computer in our bedroom. No mouse pad needed, we just roll it straight over the comforter, about 8-10 ft from the eye plugged into the laptop, works great! Oh and it does have super quiet clicks, if you're looking for that.

12 ft and works great
I have a Minisforum mini PC hooked up to my big screen TV in my bedroom and I'm seated at a desk about 12 ft away. This mouse works great from that distance. Bare bones mouse, no back button but I'm still pleased. Edit: The included battery is wrapped in a tight plastic wrap that's why it doesn't seem to work lol.

NOT Worth the money or time spent shopping for it
The other customers reviews were misleading. This product is cheap, in both quality and performance. DON"T buy...spend a bit more and be satisfied at the end. I bought this to use in my classroom, but well, it doesn't live to its marketing. The range is NOT extended. you must be close to the PC, where the receiver is connected. So, what is the point?
