Aqua Huna White Cloud Mountain Minnow - 12 Pack (Size M)

These fish arrived early. I counted twelve, which was exactly what I had ordered. They were lively and thriving immediately, and once I finished acclimatizing them they began exploring their new home. I will be making additional purchases, Aqua Huna has made a huge impression on me. :)

I put a new 10x6 pond in my backyard and I had planned to get these fish at the local pet store since mosquitos are rampant already but there was an issue and the pet store didn’t have any so I ordered from here. It’s a frog pond primarily and I didn’t want mosquito fish or guppies etc bc they’ll eat frog eggs as soon as they’re laid while these WCM aren’t as into it (they will eat it if they’re hungry but it’s not their #1 choice).Well, while I waited I was absolutely disgusted at how much mosquito larvae was in my pond, I had never seen anything like it, It looked like larvae soup so dense with larvae of all stages. Luckily these fish arrived so I plopped them in and thought my troubles were over. Well 2 days later it was as bad as ever so I started to panic and bought 6 more of the golden variety WCM at a local store that had them back in stock and ordered some dunks online. I really didn’t want to use mosquito dunks since they’re kinda blah and they also disrupt the gut microbiome of tadpoles, which without getting into the science, reduce their chance of long term survival as frogs.Well the dunks arrived and I went out there at night with a light (the best way to see how many larvae you have) and I was SHOCKED at the great work these little guys did. I think they were just getting acclimated to their new environment but once they did wow they went to work! It’s night and day they’ve eaten thousands of these larvae and at night it’s so fun to watch them hunt them in the shallow water.One other tip too, someone mentioned their hardiness and no need for aeration etc which is true, but I eventually added in the one back corner a solar aerator ($50 on Amazon for a great one) to move the water around a bit especially for these specific plants I wanted to put there and it kicked the WCM into hyper drive. They love hanging out by the bubbles and they just seem MUCH more energetic since I added it. Could just be a coincidence but I doubt it, so while you don’t need it, for $30-60 I think a solar aerator is totally worth it.

These fish came in a lot smaller than expected but I’m not mad about that. They also came in yellow water but all the fish came alive and well. I would recommend this product but don’t always expect to get the right size

The media could not be loaded. They arrived as described. They perked up quickly. Now have a nice dark silver body and bright red tail. Cohabitating well with the danios, minnows, and tetras. I’m over feeding a bit with ground up dried shrimp & bloodworms to get them fat and happy. Nice dealer.

I bought 36 white cloud mountain minnows for a two year old, 120 gallon tank that only had a newt in it (no other fish). Within a matter of 3 days, the vast majority of the fish were sick (covered in white patches) and within 5 days, 69% of them died from the disease, despite starting ich treatment on day 3.I contact the seller about receiving sick fish, and they told me it wasn’t their fault, and offered no replacements, despite the fact that I offered to pay for shipping.So if you order from this company, I would suggest having medication on hand. You will most likely receive sick fish.

All of them arrived alive and healthy. I put most of them in my outdoor pond and several in my indoor tank, and they are all doing well.

This is an amazing service. My fish arrived healthy and active. I saw some reviews complaining that they are small. They are also minnows. I’m not sure how enormous people are expecting their minnows to be! Mine were perfect and continue to be very healthy. Highly recommend!
