This sandal is for men or women? confused by the page description

You can use the size chart to compare the lengths between men's and women's sizes so as to do the size conversion from men's to women's. I have wide feet for a woman so the men's sandals work for me in a men's 8 which is similar to a women's 9 with the men's slightly wider and I like that.

the strap is way too long (down to floor plus an 1" out) - can i cut it?

Can cut it but , I folded extra strap material and then wrapped with electric tape. Strap end then acts as a strong pull strap end. Also could have shoe repair shop sow the wrapped strap material creating pull strap end.

What is the difference between e and ee? is one wide and one extra wide?

E is wide EE is double Wide and EEE is triple wide

Hi, i wear women’s 8 in chaco but feels to narrow, would men’s 7 be a good fit?

Have you tried Wide? When a got mine I got wide and they are definitely wider that the regular. I have men’s Chaco but check if they carry wide in women’s that would probably be better

Love the sandals but the sizing is confusing

To be honest this is the best looking and feeling sandal I have ever bought. It’s sporty, it’s a little dressy, it’s super easy to put on and I feel like it’s gray for the city or a hike. But at times I feel like I could have bought 2 sizes smaller. I am a 42, I ordered a 41 and i think I could have even worn a 40 comfortably because my feet aren’t wide
