powerful but gives me heartburn
UPDATE: Just tried another brand without bioperine and it was exactly the same. Looks like my heartburn is an individualized reaction. 4 stars because it works just as good as the other one. ORIGINAL: The quality of this product is good, but I started wondering why I would get this horrible burning sensation in my chest if I took it on a relatively empty stomach. Then I noticed that bioperine was listed as one of the ingredients. Bioperine increases bioavailability, which isn't necessarily bad. But it is a derivative of pepper, hence the burning sensation. Kudos for the attempt at increasing potency, but the trade off is too much and I think I will try a different brand next time.
