overall, very impressed for the price
I set this camera up on December 26, 2024, and didn’t check it again until May 18, 2025—and I’m seriously impressed. After nearly 5 months outdoors, the battery was still halfway full, and it captured almost 1,200 photos and videos on a 16GB card.Daytime image quality was excellent, with clear shots of deer, possums, hummingbirds, and even a river otter-like critter. Night vision was decent too, though I’ll be repositioning the camera next time to avoid foreground interference that threw off the focus a bit.One unexpected but valuable bonus: it captured footage of a trespasser stealing items from our property. We wouldn’t have known otherwise. Thanks to this camera, we’re now taking extra precautions—and just ordered a second one.Highly recommend this for anyone needing a dependable, long-battery trail cam that performs well in various conditions.

My Best Purchase Yet For A Trail Camera
After a lengthy process of going through reviews and videos on the Internet I finally bought this trail camera. I am impressed. This is my first trail camera and I am not disappointed. 24 megapixel lens and can take 5 photos in a row. Response time is 0.1 second. Pretty fast. You can set it so the delay between shots is 0 seconds which I did.Setup is easy enough. Insert the 8 AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries, install the SD card (max size is 128 gig). I installed a 64 gig ram card. Turn it on, format SD card and setup the camera. I set if for Motion detection with 1 minute videos and 5 photos in a row at 24 megapixels. Menu has the standard setup that all seem to have: Date/Time, Time zone, 12 or 24 hour Time format and so on.This camera has side motion detectors which I like a lot. Sure seems to catch a lot more animals in the videos and photos. You can turn the side detectors off in the setup menu if so desired. You can also setup for loop recording and have it active in a certain time range if so desired.Oh, and one of the main reasons I bought it is for the "No Glow" I.R. night vision lights. I don't want any two legged critters seeing the flash and walking off with my camera at night. Stick with No Glow. It's the future of all great trail cameras in my opinion.I placed the camera in my back yard which is wooded and no one lives near for miles so a lot of critters come visiting. Mostly at night but sometimes a flock of Turkeys wanders into my backyard in the day. After the first night I pulled the camera down and connected it to my computer. Wow, first night I was visited by a large Raccoon and two Opossums. Videos are crystal clear as are the photos with the animals about fifty feet or so away. I did have audio on for the videos but that is the one downside to this camera. The audio is horrible. So keep that in mind if you want audio in your video captures. The audio is muffled and sounds like it is recording wind blowing by as you hold the camera out the window as you drive down the highway. Anyway, I turned the audio off in all future recordings.Super nice trail camera at a great price.

Great value
Pros:- great picture and video quality- super easy to set up and mount- good camo for most settings- no visible light emission at nightCons:- a bit sensitive to light changes- very poor detection range at night for small game- LCD screen is a bit deficient for trying to look at high MP photo/videoUseful for big game but proving less useful to me for identifying small pest issues around my property

Great Camera for the price
I was looking for a no glow IR camera that was invisible to the human eye and found this camera after quite a bit of research. Most of the no glow cameras were twice or three times as much so I was a bit apprehensive. But, after some testing I'm very happy with it. I set it up beside another proven camera and it triggered every time. Most images were center frame.Pros:1) The price is great.2) The audio was excellent! Way beyond any of my other cameras and even distant or low volume sounds were captured by the camera.3) Exposure is adjustable for different locations and will auto adjust mid video if necessary. Medium setting seems to work the best for me so far.4)LED's invisible to the human eye. This camera is totally undetectable at night. No red glow visible at all.5) Clear night time photos and video.6) I like that it uses full size SD cards so I'm not fumbling around with a tiny micro card in the woods. I will say that it needs a pretty fast SD card though. I used a class 10 card first and noticed some stutter in the audio. I switched to a faster A2 card and no more problems. I think many of the negative reviews are from people who are using slower or incompatible cards. If you are getting partial photos or weird video/audio artifacts switch to a quality card with a transfer speed over 30mb like a U3, V30 or faster if you plan to do a lot of video. Sandisk has never let me down. Just because a card works in one make of camera doesn't mean it'll work in all of them.Cons:1) Bit rate of the video reveals it is on par with 1280x720p even though the video settings allow for 1920x1080p video. Not uncommon but disappointing. In all fairness, the description says 1296p not 1920p (though it lists 1920x1080p setting in the description) It is typical for a camera in this price range and not a deal breaker.2) My biggest gripe seems like the most trivial but it is the on/off switch. Every other camera has "off" all the way left and "on" all the way right. "Settings" is in the center position. They are easy to turn on and off with gloves because you can just push it all the way over. THIS camera has "On" in the center position, which means I'm going to have to remove gloves and be careful to only slide the switch one click every time I turn it on. That is going to be irritating every time I check the camera.

Good Video. Infrared Works Quite Well
I just used it this week for the first time. I was trying to find out what "critter" was getting into the crawlspace of the house. Set this camera up left it alone for a few days. Checked it this morning and found video of an opossum crawling around. There is no light in the crawlspace, so the infrared video works quite well.
