OK so I originally reviewed this item with a not so good review. The neck wrap I received was not up to par, containing too few pearls referring to what I saw and expected from the picture. It was only about a third of the way full on pearls. Within 5 minutes of my review, I received a message from a very polite and courteous fellow named Andrew from MassageStore who assured me I'd received a bad unit and a new one would be sent out. He efficiently completed the entire process for me, and he even copied me in on the e-mails between TheraPearl and himself. TheraPearl kindly called me later, apologizing for me getting a bad unit, and reassured me I'd receive a new unit soon. Three days later my new unit is here, and I'm BEYOND ASTOUNDED with my new neck wrap. This wrap was full of pearls, the plastic felt better/thicker, and it now conforms perfectly to my neck. I'd HIGHLY recommend MassageStore on Amazon as well as any TheraPearl product. I once had a cold pack in the past from them and it was lost, but it was such a great product it led me to buy the neck wrap. this company has such great reliability and excellent customer service that I'm going to be trying other products...the face mask will be my next purchase, wow that looks and sounds nice! Can't beat 4.5 stars by much! This neck/shoulder wrap needs more positive reviews I believe...it's not getting the credit that it's worth. I had received another gel ice pack/heat pack from my chiropractor and loved it. So I wanted to order one on Amazon. This was very disappointing and looked to used. The ice pack was very empty not at all what it showed in the picture. Plus I tried it out and it only lasted for like five or 10 minutes being hot. I didn’t feel it at all on my back of my neck because as you can see there are no beads I didn’t feel the heat at all the back of my neck because as you can see there are no beads. The beads are smaller than the one I got for my chiropractor to I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’m trying to return this item or replace it for a better one so hopefully the customer service people will send me a better one.

It is not as good as the first one I ordered unfortunately. It is not the same color as the first and does not freeze as well

Got these to use after sinus surgery, the "pearls" move around and adjust in the different compartments. They don't stay cold as long as I would like, but that is why I got 2 of them to rotate. They will conform to your body like a bag of frozen peas, without the "leak" factor. Seems like they will last for a good while. Would not allow children to use, it would be like a toy to them.

I used these for the first time last night and they are indeed terrific! The conform to the neck and shoulder area very nicely ( I am 5' 10" and 259 lbs) and these fit very nicely, feel great, the warmth is very penetrating. After using them on my neck, I also applied them to my thigh and it really helped relax a sore muscle. Do recommend some kind of very short napped Micro fleece cover, that will help yourself to handle the wrap coming out of the Microwave and not burn when applying it to the area you intend on heating, otherwise, the outer material stays in place when cold to cool being applied. If you do make or find a cover that will accept hook/loop Velcro like closure you could even use this as a wrap. Do recommend it and will buy again when the time comes around once more.

I get muscle spasms and tension in my neck and down through my trapezius muscle and this thing is fantastic! It heats up to the right therapeutic temperature in about a minute, and isn't too hot to put on without a cover. I do recommend having a higher-necked shirt though so that it's more comfortable. It stays warm about 15 minutes, which is just the right length of time to do some good, and is weighted nicely so that you can wear it and be moving around. I wouldn't do back flips with it on or anything, but it stays put for general movement. It is very comfortable and well-filled, and the channels make it easy to redistribute the beads to concentrate them where they are needed. I am so glad I bought this!

This neck wrap is nice in shape and is very moldable, but the beads just seem to thaw quickly. It lasts maybe 25 minutes before it needs refrozen. This is appropriate apparently for most injuries, though for my daughter's occipital neuralgia (inflammation of the nerves on her scalp), it was not. Also, the plastic, when frozen, seems to kind of poke your neck at the seam. I wish they had a cover, but if they did, it would thaw nearly instantly. I'd suggest a thin pillowcase to cover it.

Der Hals Wrap ist trotz seiner Form etwas steif. Da ich unter Nasenbluten leide benötige ich den Wrap häufig als Cold pack. Er liegt ständig im Gefrierfach. Leider läßt die Kühlung schnell nach. Trotzallem hat er bisher seinen Zweck erfüllt und ist besser als die kleinen Cold packs in der Größe einer Postkarte. Ein waschbarer Frotteebezug für den Wrap wäre eine gute Ergänzung, da das Plastik wegen der Schweissnäthe auch gerne mal piekt. Ich wickel den Pack zur Zeit in ein dünnes Handtuch/Geschirrtuch und lege Ihn mir um.
