Fortress Security Store (TM) Glass Break Sensor for Fortress Alarm Home Security Systems

I love it, but I hate that they are not wireless like the motion detectors. I can't run wires though my walls/ceiling, and it just looks terrible to have the cord running all the way to an outlet. I returned both of them and will find alternatives, but they do work when it comes to detecting glass breaking.

Added this to the S02B Fortress security system. Seems to be working fine but it had an ugly black cord on this sensor that needs to be plugged in an outlet. How about using a white cord instead. Would definitely be less conspicuous.

We purchased a Fortress system for our home. All the components that you buy at one time, come pre-programmed to the unit. We needed one additional glass break and bought this item. We haven't programmed it yet but it does come with instructions that are pretty easy. The system, with an active SIM card, will text and/or call a phone numbers (up to 6) when armed/disarmed or any sensor is triggered. System functions as designed and it saves a ton of money on monthly monitoring services.

Set up was very easy. Set up in a location to cover 2 sliding glass doors.

I bought this glass break detector to add to my S02-F system, it was easy to program into my system and it works great! I recommend the Fortress S02 systems and I would buy again.

I added this item to my recent Fortress Security Store S02-B System purchase. I had no trouble programming and installing the unit. However, I strongly recommend viewing the videos on the seller's website for very clear instructions. The unit is very sensitive and I'm sure it will have no problem performing its function when needed.

I have a glass patio door that is the most vulnerable point of entry. I read the instructions carefully and positioned and installed it accordingly within five minutes. They recommend using a ruler to test the sensitivity once its installed. I found that slapping a fly swatter against the glass worked just as well to trigger the sensor.

I installed the glass break and noticed it wasnt sensitive enough, so I turned the sensor up and it still wouldnt pick up the ruler to glass test. I think my glass break might be defective because all reviews I read seemed pleased.
