This works well. It’s a basic radio. The value for the money is great. One complaint I usually have with radios is when they’re used at low-volume, the speakers will crackle and pop. This radio does not do that. The audio quality is great at low or high volume. It comes with an AC adaptor so you don’t have to use batteries. The device takes 4 AA size batteries when not plugged into an outlet. Reception is great. There is no Bluetooth connectivity on this device, and the audio is technically mono, but the quality from the single speaker is great. We use this for our animals when we leave for multiple days at a time, and it plays classical music from our local radio station so the animals have some sort of sound while we are gone. We’ve used it during power outages, too. It’s nice to have a radio which doesn’t require half a dozen D-size batteries to function. Just 4 AA size batteries handle the need. We have not learned how long the radio will last on just a battery charge, but it did get us through a 6 hour power outage recently.

This is a small AM/FM radio. It works and sounds great !!! You can’t beat the price for a radio that not only sounds great is portable and is adorable and comes in different colors too. It also can be plugged into a wall socket or you can use batteries . I love it !!!

Best Feature: Analogue, lightweight, tactile, simple. There is no need to talk to this one, unlike our virtual assistants who often misunderstand us. It picks ups stations well. Worst Feature: The box comes with a pic of someone giving an elderly this radio as a gift. If being older than 20 is elderly, then cheers to my peeps. It's flimsy and not as sturdy as the ones we used to have back in the 80s. But we all gotta embrace poverty once in a while. Extra info: Everything is pictured in the reviews, exactly as pictured. The sound is pretty loud/sharp for a small device. Decent quality, not "great". Just what we needed. No bluetooth, no usb, no lights. If this came in retro design with the same quality/features, they might jack up the price which IMO is not worth it. 20 bucks more for a "retro/vintage" look? Just looking at the user is vintage enough! There is something nice about hearing the static between stations and turning the dial the "elderly" way.

The radio operates as advertised, picks up long distance AM stations and local FM stations. I'm a VERY old person so I have two conditions older people might want to consider. before buying . 1. Tunng is VERY precise so with arthritic fingers you will develop patience using the tuning knob. 2. If your hard of hearing the small speaker is not 100% clear at maximum volume but it works great using headphones and at lower volumes. I really like that it operaties on 4-AA batteries and is small and lightweight so I can take it anywhere. I think my next radio will be one with a digital readout.

This radio has exceeded my expectations! The stations pick up pretty well, it's relatively loud for being a simple AM/FM radio with a single speaker. It takes 4 AA batteries for when I need to take it outside, or when I keep it in the house, I can plug it in the outlet. It isn't cheap-quality made; it is a little sensitive when you move it at times, but overall, I love it! I will definitely consider getting another one!

Perfect little radio. I wanted one similar to a radio I had 50 years ago and I found it in this. You can plug it in the wall or put batteries in it. It will be great during power outages since you dont have to charge it. I am amazed by the clarity of the sound. Operating it is so simple, just turn the dial! I am very happy with it.

My special needs brother always has to have a radio. He has six other types of portable radios and this is hands down his favorite! It is lightweight and very easy to control (he is legally blind) great signal and the best value! The volume goes way up (I think he doesn’t want to listen to me some nights lol) I will definitely be buying more as a back for the future!

I bought this gift for my elderly aunt and she loves it. Great sound easy to use !! We love that it plugs in but can also be used with batteries for on the go!!
