I was a little unsure when I opened the canister - I’m used to beard balms being more like lotion. This is solid in the can. However, one scoop with my finger - then rub with my fingers together and apply to my beard (I immediately message into my hair on my head after my beard). Keeps hair soft, conditioned, and just a bit of hold. The Sandlewood scent is just the right amount! Works great and easy to message into my beard.

I have tried pretty much EVERY beard balm known to man at this point and while some have been okay, what makes this the hands down full on winner for me is not just it's effectiveness but it's scent. A sandalwood product that actually smells like REAL sandalwood and not some sweet, vanilla, gross whatever imitation pretty much every other "sandalwood" scented product out there these days smell like. I am so in love with the scent that I wish this were available as a cologne. As far as it's actual effectiveness, that is also five stars. It's effective without too much shine so it doesn't look too greasy. This is one of the only balms I have found that does NOT break me out. I use it for both my beard and my hair. It's an exceptional pomade! It isn't too greasy, it's got good hold. I'm not sure about conditioning quality yet, but it's been single digits temperature here and normally my beard feels very dry and kind of painful, I don't really know how else to describe it, and I haven't been having that problem since starting this product. Another bonus, it's a great barrier against wind/cold burn. I hope they don't stop selling this product because I for one know I would be a customer for life.

I really want to love this, but it just feels a little greasy after a while. Also starts out smelling nice, but then I start to get hints of sour the longer I have it in. Just not for me...

It's a good quality balm. It softens and provides a decent hold. And when they unscented they mean it, it has no smell, which I like. I would buy again.

The scent is actually pretty good. The sandalwood smells natural and clean, not overly strong or chemical-like. It has a nice masculine smell that most guys will probably like. My biggest issue is the texture. The balm is pretty hard in the container, and it’s actually difficult to dig your finger in to get some out. I expected it to be a little softer and easier to work with. Once you warm it up in your hands it melts down okay, but getting it out of the tin takes more effort than it should. As far as performance, it does help tame the beard a bit and adds some light conditioning, but the hold isn’t very strong. If you have a thicker or more stubborn beard, you may find it doesn’t control it as much as you’d like. Overall, the scent is good and the quality seems decent, but the hardness of the balm and average hold make it just an okay product for me. That’s why I landed at three stars.

Update: After using for some time I'm finding that this brand is fartsuperior than the other brands. My skin feels so much better from any beard irritation. It last almost all day and with the other brands I found myself applying it every few hours. I bought a four pack of different fragrances and they smell amazing. This is my new go to brand! Works well, came fast. Made with shae butter so it stays longer and feels better. Great that's it an American brand. Doesn't smell as good as the other brands, but not horrible.

J’ai été très agréablement surpris par ce baume à barbe. L’odeur de vanille est vraiment excellente : douce, chaleureuse et pas du tout écœurante. C’est un vrai plaisir à appliquer au quotidien. La texture est facile à prélever et à étaler, il fond bien dans la barbe sans laisser de film gras ou collant. Dès les premières utilisations, la barbe est plus souple, mieux hydratée et visiblement plus douce. Les poils secs et un peu rêches sont nettement disciplinés. En résumé, ce baume fait exactement ce qu’on attend de lui, avec en bonus un parfum très réussi. Un indispensable pour ceux qui veulent une barbe soignée et qui sent bon. 👉 Je recommande sans hésiter.

Makes beard nice and soft. Could be a bit more long lasting in smell

Aromas excelentes, el mejor para mí es el de sándalo, es espectacular. Parece una fragancia de diseñador. Si eres fan de la vainilla, éste bálsamo te va a flipar. A mi me encanta. El de cítricos me ha gustado pero es muy suave y el de cedro es el que menos me ha sorprendido aunque reconozco que huele muy bien. La presentación está genial tanto la caja como cada una de las latas de cada bálsamo. A falta de probarlos a fondo, de momento noto que hidratan y suavizan bastante bien mi barba.
