Superb, wonderful, fantastic, love it, grateful for it, amazing, I give it a 239 out of 5 rating.
The rating system is flawed. I would like to give this 239 out of 5. To say it is good would be an insult. To say it is superb, fantastic, wonderful might start to get the concept across. I have had an issue for - ok, it's been years. I didn't quite put it together, but my left ear was muffled and I was constantly hearing a kind of shhhhhhh sound, but I wasn't convinced it was that other thing. As time went on, even moving my ear a little resulted in muffled hearing for a while, it would eventually clear. Over a year ago I accidentally got some water in my ear - let a spray handle of the shower go right in my ear for a moment, and for weeks that side was muffled. I figured water was holed up in there so I got some drying drops and after weeks the muffled quality left. Now I realize that also hardened the wax. (that I didn't know about) Three days ago I manipulated my ear in a particular way and suddenly I had the equivalent of a thick silicone earplug in my left ear and nothing would make that go away. It was really problematic, a massive perceptual distortion in a huge number of ways. You might ask, why not go to a doctor. I don't have an answer. I thought it was a big complicated thing, like making a problem for others, hard to articulate. Anyway, spoke to my AI, didn't even get the "I can't discuss medical things," and it explained what was likely going on. I thought I had some wax-softening drops, used what I had a bit, discovered they were drying drops. So again, I probably made it worse. Ok, now to the good part. I put the drops in but knowing this had been an issue for so long I decided to do three or four full days with the drops once I read how they work. And I did around 2.8 days, roughly twice a day, but for a while I forgot, but it was still there doing its thing. I finally just decided that if it didn't work now I was going to urgent care tomorrow. So I got the water to the right temperature, within .4 degrees, so I think that's good, assembled it, and tried it. But I was too gentle and nothing happened. I came back and reread the directions and it explained better than I'd realized how to do it, that it might take a few bottlefuls, and that I should pull on my ear to get the canal in a better orientation. This time I aimed better and blasted. I could feel that this time it was going deeper and also instead of spraying a single time, letting it leak out, I got an entire water compartment going - I kept the tip in to keep more of the water staying in and I sprayed to create movement within that zone of water. OHHHH MYYYYY GODDDDDDDDDD! Chunks (sorry, this is going to be gross) of what looked like dense, wadded-up paper, which is what I thought it was at first, started coming out. Chunks, I mean not little crumbs - a couple of huge chunks. And suddenly AHHHHHHHHHHHH (angel voices) I'm so ecstatic I could sing. The pressure was starting to be painful, and I was thinking this was going to be a whole big deal at the urgent care and then maybe a specialist, the emergency room, etc. This is 1048% as good as I thought it would be. I am so pleased, so grateful, so amazed, so delighted. I'm glad I had the patience to put in the three days. I lay in bed, that ear up, put a few drops in, let it run inside, I could feel it was happening, then ten minutes later, a few more drops with manipulation, movement, putting a finger inside carefully to create and release pressure, pushing on the outside bottom of my ear to cause squishing sounds and a gentle manipulation of the pressure and soreness that was building. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. This is a fantastic product. And as far as the overflow container - nice, cool, but as one person, I just stopped that on the second round and did it over the sink and if that hadn't sufficed I would have moved to the shower. Again, I would suggest not thinking of it as squirting but rather creating a chamber filled with water (of course making sure it can also leak out, but I think the design of the nozzle tip has that built in), and then using the squirting to create an entire movement within that chamber of water. I think the technical term is a "turbulent vortex". You aren't trying to hit the wax with a squirt (in my opinion), you're trying to use the squirt to create a powerful movement of all of the water that you've got in there and that is what reaches behind the wax and shoves it out. Squirting at it won't likely do that. But the turbulent vortex pushes water "here" and moves it "there" because water compresses so little. for the water to move from here to there some of the water there has to flow outwards, and that's what it does. I don't think that's obvious or clear in either the instructions or the general concept. I hadn't considered what a trick we're playing on the wax but pushing water towards it in a powerful way we are forcing water behind it to move out of the way, and that water behind it getting out of the way brings the wax with it. Ok, there are a few things below that they're asking about. Battery life? Excellent. Lasts forever. (I didn't use the otoscope, I was afraid of what I'd find there). Value for money? OMG, this was worth many multiples of its cost in terms of its effect. Ease of cleaning? It doesn't get dirty, so yes, really easy to clean. Ok, I think that's everything. This is the best product in any category that I've gotten in a long time because it did something so wonderful for me. My only criticism is the horrible image in the listing, I won't say which one, but it was so horrifying I was going to not buy the product out of protest. But I'm glad I did. I think we can all recognize what I'll be doing over the next three days - softening the wax that must be in the other ear so I can remove it too. Wow. This is joyful. Added a week later: ok, I decided to do the other ear, and in preparation, I did like five full days of the drops because it had been years, decades, and I just didn't realize there was a solution. But wanted to make sure I softened it up really well before I irrigated. I probably did five days laying on my side, or when I was going to sleep, and then a finally did it, and again, a really surprising wad came out, I mean the size of an earplug, which is what it was. Same advice as before - you're not actually squirting water at it, although you can try that - you're filling the canal with water and then keeping the tip in there, you're squirting kind of hard over and over and over to create deep movements within that chamber of water so that the movement travels to behind the obstruction and pushes it out. High energy sloshing and movement within the water that fills it pretty fully. The top is designed to let the right amount out as you squirt. I quickly skipped the little bucket because I just wanted to focus on the squirting. This thing is a Godsend.

No brainer purchase for people with earwax issues!
Every couple of years I get a pretty gnarly blockage in my ears of compacted ear wax. It usually coincides with a day in the pool where the water just gets stuck in the ear canal due to the compacted earwax. I’ve gone to dr’s before for the fix and they’ve fixed it just fine, but I wanted to be able to deal with it myself. Also, I have a couple devices like an otoscope that connects to my phone so I can see what exactly is going on in there. That otoscope also has silicone tips to “scoop” ear wax out. This has served me decently from time to time. But this latest ear clog it did not. First off you have to be wildly careful poking around with anything in your ear and the last couple days, while I tried to scoop out the blockage, I was also feeling minor pain and decided not to cause more damage. That’s when I found this WaxBgone product. I saw good reviews, a couple not so good reviews. But also watched a few videos online and found that some people aren’t quite using it to its full effect. With all that said, I had basically 10% hearing in my right ear for 3 days before this arrived and was back to 100% in minutes with zero pain or discomfort. My wife happened to be sick the day it came and went to an urgent care and was encouraging me to come to get my ears fixed and I stubbornly said I would go later if this product didn’t work out. Suffice to say, I didn’t go later. This is super simple to use, the drops it comes with are great (and apparently not necessary for all instances of blockage) but I used them just in case. The instructions warned me that depending on how compacted and hard the earwax is, it may take multiple spray bottle refills to fix. But it cleared out for me in less than 1/4 of the bottle. And man, if you have ever had an earwax blockage before, the sensation of being able to hear again is absolutely the most satisfying thing in the world. Zero pain, easy to use, no crazy chemicals…I love it. The only real downside is my wife was grossed out by what came out of my ear. But what can you do about that? This thing did exactly what it needed to! I plan on using this every few months to prevent blockages in the future. My mother (who has passed) had such major issues with earwax in her later years and used the candles that truly did nothing. I wish this existed then. With all that said, if you ever have earwax issues. BUY THIS! I cannot believe how well it worked and keeping it clean is simple for future uses.

Do not purchase premium version if you use all by yourself
It does help you clean some earwax. I recently use it for self cleaning after feeling ear clogging. I needed with visiting a nearby urgent care and found the issue had nothing to do with earwax, but the doctor said my ear canal was clean, so I believe it did its job. The only complain I can say is that the water sprayed everywhere when you use it, so you better use it next to a tube.

Wow! Get this!
This was amazing. Way better than I was expecting. I have a 14yo whose ears were so clogged after swimming that he could barely hear. I wanted to try this before I took him to the doctor, but I fully thought we would still need to make an appointment. I thought I would need some experience or medical knowledge to clean out his ears, even with this tool. Nope. Worked so well that I can’t believe it. We used the drops, then the sprayer. So much wax came out of his ears. It was unbelievable. He can hear again and feels so much better, way more conveniently than going to the doctor. Seriously, buy this if you need help with ear wax. This is my first review ever, that’s how much I wanted to rave about this product.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE
Absolutely amazing. I watched the doctors use this same system in my ear before. After my ear had been clogged for the past week, I decided to purchase this for my own use and this was an INSTANT at home fix for a cheaper price.

Shockingly good product
This product is user-friendly and effectively removes stubborn earwax without causing any pain, unlike the urgent care service that failed to do so for my 10 year old child. I’m not sure if the magic lies in the unique irrigation system’s spray style or the earwax cleaner drops that came with it to be used before irrigating the ear.

Just do it—it works!
My left ear had been plugged for about a month. I went to my doctor thinking it was an ear infection but when she checked my ear she said there was a lot of ear wax and it was likely impacted ear wax that was causing a blockage/no hearing. She advised I use debrox. I tried debrox a long with the little bulb it came with for about 2 weeks. I looked up ear wax removal kits and was hesitant to buy it due to my own anxieties but was TIRED of being uncomfortable and not being able to hear anything. I bought this one due to price and reviews, along with the mention of safety for the ear canal/drum and used it the day it came in. The amount of ear wax that came out of my left ear alone was shocking and disgusting but fascinating at the same time (I was not about to take pictures of that nastiness lol). Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend. It was easy to read instructions and "put together," made me feel like it was medically safe for my ears and it worked. I am now extremely comfortable and CAN HEAR!
