A good solution to a minor problem.
Just what I needed. Nice quality little gadgets. I burn Japanese stick incense in a bowl, and for years I’ve tried to come up with the least messy way of retrieving the little leftover pieces of incense. I’ve tried screens, which never worked well, and I’ve used kitchen strainers with plates, and so on. Now that I have this product, I’m all set. They’re nicely made.

Perfect For Incense Sticks, That Burn All The Way Down
These Brass Incense Holders - Set Of 3, they are the perfect solution for incense sticks that burn all the way down. Until recently, all of the incense sticks I have purchased, they have a wood stick at the end, so that they only burn down to the wood stick, then you can just pull the wood stick out of your incense burner. I have found recently, that not all incense sticks are like that. Some don't have the wood part at the end, so that they burn all the way down, clogging the hole of your incense burner. This kind, the incense stick is shorter too, and more fragile. So, I found this Set Of 3 Brass Incense Holders. Each is different, but what I really love, each one, at the bottom is a hole, or holes, so that it doesn't get clogged, even if you use incense sticks, that burn all the way down. Each one has a little weight to it. Now, I just insert an incense stick, into one of the 3 Brass Incense Holders, and place it near one of the holes of my incense burner. No more clogs! These Brass Incense Holders look nice too. The price was excellent too.

Small but impressively hefty
Be warned: They are very small. The listing does its best to clearly communicate the size, but it still might surprise you when you take them out of the package. But they have excellent weight, so they hold the incense very securely. They also give me the opportunity to pull out my various little decorative plates, to use as ash catchers. I only use standard stick incense right now, but I would be curious to try these incense holders with other forms as well. I am quite happy with this purchase.

Good set for incense that is simple and affordable!
I will say that this is a nice simple set that does not break the bank. I bought mine for $8.19. Only flaw is that the solid core incense holes should be shorter due to the amount of incense that goes to waste. Japanese incense is different, they tend to be quality over quantity, more expensive and smaller. So you can see that some of your solid core Japanese incense will be a bit wasted. Other than that, this set is simple, easy to clean, affordable and sturdy. I also think they look nice. The only incense holder you need
I struggled with finding an incense holder that didn’t make a mess but they are all too small. So I bought these and use a pasta bowl I had to catch the ash and it’s perfect! Cheaper too.

Nice weight, sturdy
Couldn't decide which burner to buy so I decided to buy these and use an old saucer. Found a mismatched teacup and saucer, and put one of the burners inside. Looks good to me and works perfectly, nicely weighted and the cup catches the ashes. My plan is to super glue the cup and saucer together for a more stable piece. I'm sure I can find a couple more random pieces, another saucer or two maybe, to use the other two pieces.

Super small. Not very helpful
These are miniscule, so not really heavy enough to hold up a substantial incense stick. The cylindrcal one is especially lightweight and tips over. Not a good thing with something that is burning.

Incense burner holders.
EDITED: Really good assortment of incense holders - I have quite a few incense burners here that need different types of holders and these 'fit the bill' quite nicely. The absolute best thing about these incense holders that I forgot to mention is that they are solid brass! When I bought some incense burners quite some time back they came with some holders that look similar to these but they were very light in weight and couldn't hold the incense properly without additional support which is, of course, a fire hazard. So what I did in the meantime before seeing these was to put the holders into some aquarium gravel. I was not fond of this because cleaning out the ash from the gravel and cleaning the burners meant scratching the burners as the gravel went into and then out of the burner. (And having to use a fine tea strainer to catch the tiny gravel - a complete pain in the butt!) These little brass holders are great - nice and heavy and I don't have to worry about them toppling over!
