Victorio VKP1056 Stainless Steel Canning Rack, Flat

My canning rack is almost as old as I am and my husband has tried everything to minimize the rusting on it. We finally admitted that a new stainless steel one was a reasonable investment. Great and easy to use. Don’t miss the old “rust bucket” at all.

Love this canning rack. My old one had only one wire to stabilize the jars. This one is easy to use, jars are stable regardless of size. Stainless steel means it won't corrode. Highly recommend.

I was trying to write a review for the canner, not just the rack. I purchased this canner after reading many reviews online and am really happy with my purchase. I didn't mind paying more for a product that doesn't chip and rust. I've had no problem using it on my solid surface stove. This was my first canner and I was able to can everything from jams to applesauce. Having the temperature gauge in the canner lid made me much more comfortable, knowing my canned goods would be safe. Everything turned out great! I wish that the canner description had said that the rack was included, because by the time I had an opportunity to return it, it was too late, so I wasted $30+ on something that I can't see ever needing an extra of. It's misleading that Amazon shows the rack being "frequently bought together" with the canner.

Works as expexted. Would have given 5 stars but the wire gauge on the rack was a little on the light side, but it was listed as stainless steel and it worked for what I needed. Leave the old wire tray in the bottom and lay the new rack on top of it. The new rack by Victoria sits flat and does not keep the rack off the bottom, keeping the old tray underneath it solves that problem.

No issues so far but I’ve only used it once. Seems durable. Didn’t bend under full weight. Impressed with the quality.
