Review: A handy item to have for my brewing and wine making - This does NOT replace a regular carboy stopper though. It is helpful for me in other things such as vacuum degassing and transferring to secondary carboys or bottling buckets. Someone else pointed out how it can be used to start a siphon without a special siphon device hand pump too. The seal is not that snug so you might need some vaseline to help with that.

**Q: Can I use this to seal a converted sanke keg?**
A: Hello Hunter,This cap will not work on a sanke keg unfortunately. I have seen where customers use a rubber stopper to do this, but I am not sure of the size you would need. I hope this information helps you some.Sincerely,Marissa

**Q: What are the diameters of both opening? Looking at closed CO2 transfers...**
A: The bigger one has the same ID as 3/8th inch tubing, the smaller one measured at ~4/16th an inch.

**Q: Will this fit a standard wide mouth glass gallon jug?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The carboy caps do not fit the wide mouth gallon jugs. The carboy caps do work on a 3, 5, or 6 gallon glass carboy.

**Q: Dose this fit a 18.9 lts carboy made in Italy ?**
A: I believe that it should.  It is fairly flexible.

Fits great on my 5 gallon glass carboy and should do the job. I wish I knew what it was made of because I don't think it's silicone, has more of a PVC feel to it. The caps are fairly loose, especially the large one so if you plan to use this with an airlock keep that in mind.
