Cooking instructions Soak dried giant beans in cold water at least 8 hours before cooking them. Soaking helps them cook more quickly and makes it easier to digest. Ingredients ----------- Giant Beans Directions ---------- You have to soak giant beans before cooking. Place water in a saucepan and soak the dried giant beans overnight. Once soaked, place them in a strainer and rinse thoroughly under cool running water. Put water and salt into a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Add giant beans, bring back to a boil, cover the saucepan and cook gently over medium heat until tender. Put the giant beans in a baking pan, add tomato sauce, chopped onion and parsley and bake for 1 hour.
