BLAUPUNKT AMP1404 1500W CAR Audio 4 Channel Amplifier (AMP1404)

Bought this in August of 2024. It in my daily driver and has never given me any problems. Getting ready to buy another on for a project car. I was hesitant at first from some of the reviews and took a chance. Glad I did, it work great. Im assuming the bad reviews were probably due to a bad install.

Runs cool and has plenty of power. I’m running 4 high end speakers with a separate blaupunkt running a 10” sub. Sounds fantastic, crystal clear and loud. That guy saying it is not, obviously doesn’t know anything about installing amps. He’s just mad at himself! Quality amp!

It works great. I ran a subwoofer to the bridged sub channel and paired up left and right front and rear 6.5" speakers. Sometimes the amp gets hot so I plan on installing two cooling fans to keep amp cool soon.

Outstanding for the price! This is a really nice amp and I run the hell out of it and it just keeps pumping out the sound. I would gladly use this for any stereo install. I am powering 4 6x9 speakers and they scream

I purchased the amp March of 2023. Spring of 2025 the amp quit working right, it doesn't work until it warms up. It was installed in a vehicle that's only driven in the summer.

I installed this after my 20 year old amp failed in my 20 year old 4Runner. The replacement was easy since all the wiring was in. At first I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough power and my fears were realized when I had to drive my radio volume to maximum to barely get enough output on the speakers...until I remembered that there are volume adjustments on the Blaupunkt. They had been set to minimum by the factory and when I adjusted them to about maximum the volume was plenty. I rarely listen to music (primarily podcasts, radio and recorded books) so can't really give a knowledgeable review of the dynamic range of the amp but I have no reason to believe it's not perfectly satisfactory for any listening. The amplifier seems to be made of high quality materials and I have no reason to believe that it won't give me many years of service. I consider it to be a very good value and well worth buying.

Very nice amp, produces good sound quality, I did some testing for a hour at 30 volume (50 max) and it’s soo hot you don’t wanna leave your hand on it for more than a few seconds.

It’s powering two JBL and two Alpine speakers. I’m halfway on the volume and it’s extremely loud. Highly recommended it.

Not used it. But looks good for price... shipping was not fast.. but earlier then expected.
