The product has been a life changer for our child. All ASD kids need specific nutrients more so than regular children. The problem is figuring out the best way to give it to them. This product has greatly reduced their erratic behavior and calmed their jitteriness and general antics. They’re calmer and easier to manage. Our child is diagnosed with ASD and also has major hyperactivity issues (ADHD). They are also non-verbal. After a few weeks of use the changes are quite noticeable. Our child tends to go through different sensory phases and is very picky at eating. Any small changes in their food or drink and they notice. As they change moods and sensory phases, so does their eating behaviors. That leaves this miracle product in a tight spot; it’s got so much great stuff in it, but it effects the taste. We’ll discuss how to work around that in a bit. This is an all purpose multi-vitamin, and its ingredients and doseage levels are aligned with children who have autism spectrum disorder. For example you’ll notice it has much higher levels of vitamin c, magnesium and b6 then most kids vitamins, in fact it borders on adult levels, and this is fine and desired in such a product. That’s because research studies has shown that certain vitamins are synergistic in helping ASD children and they need a lot of them too, way more then a normal child. This vitamin mix contains the correct doseage amount based upon that research. ASD kid’s needs are much much greater for certain nutrients. If you look at the back of the Ingredients, everything is there for a purpose and it’s backed by research! This product works! Now, how do you work around the taste? Because of all the good stuff in it, it makes juice minerally and the tumeric stains most things yellow. Don’t be discouraged, because it mixes very well with milk products and formula, as well with cheese and tangy saucy flavors, like tomato sauce. I recommend you use way less then the recomended amount to start, which it actually recommends to use half to start. It works well even if you stick to half the daily doseage. You want to get your child taking it in very small amounts so they become accustomed to it without noticing it. A small pinch here and there in the their milk/formula worked. Over a weeks time, build up to a tiny bit more. Be patient! If you put too much you might turn off your kid for good. Overtime they’ll be accustomed and you can slowly increase the amount. Please DO NOT try to dose it all in one sitting, break it down into installments over the day, little by little. The flavor and texture will be too overbearing. Our child will only take this with milk and nothing else, and we had to start off real small in the beginning and gradually build up. They’ll get used to it, trust me, just don’t be greedy in the beginning. Be patient and use very little to start. He still takes less than the full reccomended doseage, and It has been a miracle worker, so be patient. Some days our child will not drink milk because of their sensory issues, so we switch to Natural Vitality Calm Kids. It’s not a multivitamin but focuses on key ingredients that helps ASD and ADHD children. The natural vitality mixes well in juice and water because it’s an already a fruity flavored Drink mix that taste good. We swap between these two based upon what our child will drink when they’re picky. We use the Vitality to make a custom drink our child likes, that has a mango probiotic drink, which we water down, with the fruit mix. The point is, you need to figure out what works for your child best to suit their tastes, but regardless the science behind what works is the same, so one way or another you’ll need to figure out how to bear give them the vitamins they need to help calm their issues. ASD and ADHD is all about nutrition!

This product is AMAZING!!! I’m so beyond pleased with customer service as well as this product! I started giving this to my son about a month ago, and I’m so beyond amazed with all the side effects. I mainly gave this to him as he won’t take any probiotics or vitamins. So I was thinking, “Oh good, I can get him some nutrition in since it’s a powder.” But, I was not expecting ANYTHING from it. My son started giving DIRECT eye contact (8 months ago there was NONE), started responding to his name way more, being more affectionate, more sounds and WAY more functional play. He’s starting to imitate AND STARTED TO POINT!!! He sleeps a TON better too! I can’t even imagine what more time on this product will bring. I will NEVER buy any other thing for my son. My son is 2 and is on the spectrum. I’m amazed with the progress in such a short time and so are his therapists! I 100% recommend simple spectrum to EVERYONE! This is a very polarizing product in that it either worked for your child on the spectrum or it didn't. Judging by the review, you can tell it did not work for us. Our son is very particular about what he eats, as are most kids on the spectrum which is the whole reason we have been desperate to find something to supplement his nutrition. This was not our product. This supplement is packed with some really good stuff and is the most comprehensive multivitamin for kids that I could find which is why I was willing to pay 50-something dollars to try it out. Unfortunately, though, it still has a slight awkward taste to it even though it is supposed to be flavorless, but because there's so many vitamins in there it still has a vitaminy taste to it and our son noticed, regardless of how little we put into his food or drinks. The product recommends starting small and working your way up to the intended dose, but regardless of how small we started he always noticed. Also, this stuff is orange so mixing with our son's favorite drink (milk) was impossible without him noticing it. Also, this stuff does not mix well. We tried to put this stuff into a juice that he likes, but it fails to mix properly and leaves little white particles floating in the drink no matter how hard we tried to mix it in, so you HAVE to mix it in a covered cup so your child won't see the floaties in his or her drink.. I love that this stuff was designed by dietary and Autism experts but, like many things involving Autism, it either works for your kid or it doesn't. Unfortunately, it did not work for us. My child is very picky and can easily sense when something is changed from the norm and if your kid is like this too then you may want to try another product. Our child has always been pretty decent about taking medicine and so we picked up ChildLife Essentials Multi Vitamin & Mineral for a fraction of the price of this stuff. We just call it medicine and give it to him in a children's medical syringe you can get with suspension Tylenol for kids.

My 2 year old boy is a picky eater and very tantrumy. Its almost 5 weeks now since we started him on this supplement and I can tell you that my my husband and I have seen positive improvement. My son seems to be much happier, his sleep patterns had improved, and the tantrums and meltdowns significantly decreased. He is interacting more with other kids at the daycare per his teachers evaluation and he is napping more and not being destructive. I noticed too that he can focus much better and he is talking more. This is a great supplement. The color is odd but the taste is undetectable. I added this to his choco milk, juice, or yougurt and he will still take them with no problems.

Usually, I don't review the products unless the product is worth the attention which in my opinion simple spectrum is. My son has shown improvements in receptive language , he is sleeping better and his concentration has improved dramatically. I can see how dedicated their team is and how carefully this product has been designed. The customer service is amazing too. I suggest everyone should give this product a go to see clear improvements themselves.

Can't really say it worked for my little boy who was diagnosed with Autism. He didnt like taking this. Difficult to mix in juice or water.
