Great for budget lens
Recieved this item the other day and had a chance to use a few times to take pictures of the moon and sun (with a solar filter attached). While images of the moon show some chromatic aberration, it is excellent quality for the price. Image quality is on par with some of my older basic canon lenses (softness in image details, chromatic aberration, etc). As long as you don't expect the image quality of a L series lenses, this is a very good lens...but I wouldn't expect that with a lens that is 10-20x less expensive. Bottom line...so far I'm pleased with this lens and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Better than expected.
I opened the box 10 min ago. The lens easily attached to my Canon Rebel using the provided T mount adapter. The hex tool also porvided was not needed. Its a manual focus lens so I had some concerns but I was able to focus the lens faster than my standard ef-s lenses set on auto focus. Picture quality is yet to be determined but the image on the cameras viewing screen is impressive. In my novice opinion this lens is worth twice the price. Another plus is I receved the lens in perfect condition 2 days early. When purchasing in the future I will be checking this companys lenses first.

Good lens for the money
This lens requires skill with your camera. It's awkwardly long, especially at 800mm. Focal adjustment rotation range is nearly two full turns. However, if you want to shoot bright targets that aren't moving at greater than 400mm, this is about the least expensive way to do it. They saved money by giving it T-threads and including the appropriate T-adapter for your camera. I bought it for shooting the sun through solar film, and it will work fine for that. Focusing is the greatest challenge, especially since you're standing in bright sunlight. In my experience, optical, or through the viewfinder focusing works best, but even on a tall tripod it's in an awkward position when viewing the sun mid day.

AWESOME LENS
I purchased this for my canon Eos 2000d. Fits great. Excellent build quality. Image quality is also excellent. It’s heavy which is literally the only downside BUT I am still able to hold it free hand for photos and also works well on a tripod!! Purchased to take pics of the moon originally but it has worked well for other photos like for birds. Thanks!!

Heavy
The lens is heavy. It’s a good value but it weighs the camera bag down.

Worthless.
Arrived with a broken lens cap. Image quality is blah, focusing is clunky. Wouldn't purchase a second time. Edit: I've had more time to work with the lens and it would be of better use as a baseball bat. Unless your tripod is a huge cement block with chains holding the camera in place, do not expect to be able to focus manually (like there is any other option), because the image will jerk all over the place due to the lens's flimsy design. If you are hoping to photograph wildlife, do not buy this lens, because as the geese/squirrels/etc move around, you will be constantly fighting with this lens trying to refocus. This is the worst purchase I've yet made from this site, and I strongly advise you spend a couple extra bucks for a better option. This is a waste of the natural resources that went into making it.

Nice lens works well very easy to put the t mount on and put the camera together.Very easy to focus. It takes a great picture the weight of the lens isn't to bad but you need a tripod for best results.

Stra consigliato.
