Good quality! Strong the size is perfect they worked good on the grill soaked them for a little longer then it suggested and they didn’t burn like most do

I saved some stiff foam packing - not styrofoam, but the other kind often used in packing fragile things. Mine came from a box with a mirror in it. Anyway, the foam is very sturdy and using these wooden skewers, I pierced the foam, slid it down near the end, did the same with another skewer, then added another strip of foam near the top. That makes up a hairpin lace frame. Quick and easy to make and I can create the hairpin lace frame as far apart or close together as I want for my lacey loops. An inexpensive way to make what I need!

Didn’t use them for cooking. Put them in container plants to stop the squirrels from digging up my plants to bury nuts. Trying all non lethal remedies. Seems to be working for now. Would be 5 stars but don’t know how they work for there intended purpose. Side note, wife found them cheaper locally. Small town of 14,000 people.

Use them to hold large roasts and hams in place in a large electric roaster or roasting pan so when cooking it keeps a 20 lb item from turning and getting burned by the surrounding metal as it slow cooks for long hours. We were using chop sticks. This is better as they make a smaller hole in the meat and the price was reasonable so they can be tossed afterwards. Customers shouldn't notice where these were in the meat.

Skewers need to skew. They stab. They are strong. They go in the garbage.
