Asrock B550M Steel Legend Motherboard, Supports 3rd Gen AMD4 Ryzen, PCIe 4.2

I spent a while looking for a decent mATX board, I was finding that the cheaper options around £70-100 tend to cut corners in terms of lacking a decent number of fan headers (I know you can get fan splitters but I like flexibility), or were b450 or older. For not too much extra with the b550m steel legend, it's future proofed to PCIe gen 4, supports 3rd gen Ryzen and beyond, and has a great feature set, it also looks the part. Is there better options for more money? Probably, but for this price I don't think there's a better option

Good mobo - used with 5600x processor out the box - I was unsure if I needed to flash but I didn't need to in the end - so far so good

Live the colour and how it looks. VRMs are so cool with 5600x. Came with drivers installed. RBG looks really good. Plenty of features as well as bells and whistles. Highly highly recommend it. Give me all the money in the world I wouldn't have bought a different motherboard. Delivery was fast.

Works like treat

This board has very cool VRMs, perfect for overclocking if thats your thing. I am running it with a 5600X (PBO2 OC enabled +75Mhz) boosting to 4.75Ghz and its been solid. Couldn't ask for more to be honest. Love the camo look, wish this board was mostly white rather than black though. Plenty of USB ports on the back, 4 chassis fan headers + 2 CPU fan headers for all kinds of set ups. Only thing thats annoying that the RGB doesn't turn off with PC shutdown, but you can turn off manually.

All components are brand new and has turned on with a different Motherboard. I like the motherboards look but it will not work.

Already reviewed. Board still performed well. Now faulty and no replacement by Amazon due to EU seller. Had to refund and return. Now components are susceptible to damage while purchase another mobo and wait for it to arrive.

XMP profile doesn’t work properly on this board. My ram was running at 2400 mhz max even though its speed its 3600. As a result it reduced my CPU PERFORMANCE in gaming.

Sa i purchased this motheroboard 3 days ago and i just read a review from a buyer saying that he manage to update somehow bios without swaping cpus now this is what happend to me also as i instaled it and it did gave me a black screen at first when it rebooted himselfe i was able to enter bios and i saw that 2.50 was instaled... i was amazed and also very much confused.. as it said on the mobo it needs to be bios flashed but that was not my problem i dont know how i manage to do this i still dont but it worked.... overall i highly recomend this motherboard it is a great piece and a trustworthy seller! 10/10!!!!!

Great motherboard, looks amazing, delivers those PCIE 4.0 speeds perfectly, easy install, full of functionality, well worth the money.
