CAHAYA Electric Guitar Case Hard Shell Lockable Fits Most Strat Tele

This is in no way a long term review and is just first thoughts. With that out of the way, the case seems pretty nice. there was a slight blemish on it when I was taking it out of the box (pictured below) but I mean it’s a case and an 80$ case at that so I’m not gonna ding it for that. The padding doesn’t seem crazy thick however I don’t think it’s gonna cause an issue down the line. Depending on your body style ie my schecter c1 it may float slightly both on the body side and the neck support leaving the head stock to take the weight and although that bothers me, again it’s an 80$ hard case so this is something I’m just gonna solve with a cloth. The storage compartment is pretty large although not pictured I think I could probably fit some cleaner and a few rags, picks, ect. Another thing I wanna mention is that an 8 string actually fits better than my 6 string which I found kind of funny and no one talked about in the reviews so a big win for us 8 string players. To sum up my rambling; time will tell how this holds up but for now I would probably buy another one of these!

I looked for a case for a new Asian built Stratocaster copy for a couple weeks. Even though the guitar's quality matches or even exceeds expensive American built Stratocasters, I couldn't see buying a case that cost as much or more than the guitar itself. Also, the guitar is almost always on a stand and would only be cased if I transported it. But almost all hard cases under $100 had bad reviews. I kept looking on Amazon but the results were always the same until I ran across this one. I don't know how it never showed up in my many searches. Finally, a case with all positive reviews! It looked good so I ordered it and I'm so glad I did. It was delivered today and I'm absolutely delighted. It's very well built with thick padding and a nice big accessory compartment. I got the tan tweed version with the red plush interior and it looks classy. All my other cases are black so this was a nice change. My guitar fits in it beautifully with only a fraction of an inch slack at the body which is fine. I highly recommend this case for it's quality, looks and, most importantly, its value. From what I saw when searching for a case, similar or nearly identical cases of this quality cost far more - usually up to twice or three times the price of this case.

Overall a decent case for the money. It is great for a hobby musician that occasionally gigs. But it is not for heavy professional touring use. It is just not a heavy duty case. I mostly work in the studio, so I rarely need a case at all. I was looking for a hard case for an Ibanez FRH10N FRH Thinline Acoustic Electric without spending 3x as much for the OEM case. This one works, but just barely... it is not a perfect fit. It is a bit tight on the body width, and because of the classical tuning pegs, the neck does not rest on the neck saddle without stuffing the strap or some other pad under it. And closing the lid is very tight with the FRH. It works for my occasional use, but if you are planning on putting an FRH in this on a regular basis, you may want to get the OEM case instead.

I really love this case, it seems very good quality and built with care. It'll definitely protect your guitar from falls and scrapes etc. You have keys and can lock it if you'd like to. It has an inside compartment with a good size amount of room for picks pedals and whatnot. I definitely suggest getting these case, even if it costs a little more it's worth it. Very good looking case too. I was impressed with how it looks. One thing i'll mention is the head of your guitar does kinda stick up higher than the body inside the case, just an FYI type of thing. It didn't affect me but just letting you know depending on your guitar.

I purchased this case for a Jackson JS22 Dinky, which fit perfectly. Price and Quality is better than my Gator guitar case. Solid build, no smell. Everything about this case is perfect. Unlike my Gator case it stands perfectly upright because they installed four feet on the hinge side and another four feet on the flat side. It also locks and contains a nice layer of foam with felt over it to keep the guitar from moving around. It also has a nice sized storage pocket inside for your guitar cable, picks, tuner, extra strings and tools. And it's light weight. I highly recommend this case! You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny!

Great case, kept my guitar safe during my move.

I loved this case, given all of it's features for a decent price and bought it to protect my Michael Kelly Patriot Decree. When I received, my first thought was great quality! I loved the storage area, as it fit all of music sheets, picks, tuner, ect. The case was very sturdy, the latches worked well, as did the lock. I liked that it had a curved cutout for the kneck to rest. However, when I got my guitar in there and tried to close it, I realized that it is not made for a guitar with a downward head. The kneck and head must be straight in order to close completely. I was very disappointed when I realized this. I wish they would make the same case, but one that supports the curved head, as they are quite popular. If this case worked for my particular guitar, I would have given it 5 stars.

Appears to be good quality, well made, tough on the outside and well padded inside. I am very pleased with this item. I have other Cahaya branded items, so will happily buy more in the future.
