Does this device connect to a nordictrack elite 10.9 elliptical trainer with ifit / bluetooth smart?

My Husband and I have been able to get it to Pair with iFit Console on NordicTrack Grand Tour Pro Spin-Cycle; and other Reviewers have mentioned that it paired with iFit Consoles on X22i/X32i Treadmills.. I would think that it would be compatible with the 10.9 Elliptical, as it utilizes Bluetooth in the iFit App, similar to the iFit Apps employed on the other NordicTrack Exercise Equipment..

The device does not come with an app. I can be used with a variety of apps. I use my with the Pelton which does not have a low heart rate warning. Perhaps another app would offer that feature.
