This item was exactly what i needed to replace leaking valves. The existing valves we had had the dampers on them. Wanted to replace with the same as they have been working well since the house was built. Did not find suitable ones in the local home improvement stores. These allow for sweat or threaded attachment of the water lines. I used threaded connectors to adapt to Pex lines in the house. Since the valve size and thread were similar the installation went smoothly. This item was about half the cost or units in the local stores. I would recommend this item.

Had the hardest time fixing the cross thread. Smh

This works as states, However, it is fragile Once properly installed and drywalled it is sturdy. One tip to save you a Million headaches. I did buy the copper sweat connection and my tip is: Do not attempt to use any con ector to solder it to your copper water lines, Do solder the 1/2 inch water lines straight into the valve. Please see pic for ilustration.

Easy to install and connect. And 1/2 the price of the big hardware stores!

Took it with me to lowes to get the right fittings and hose and poof I have an upstairs laundry. I would say it is hard to read the on off but once you have it on, you know the other way is off.

I liked it as it’s easy to hook up existing water lines n looks fresh n new compared to the old one!

Now here's hoping it is easy to install looks pretty easy be great no more banging water pipes. It has been installed and they work perfect these were far cheaper than from the plumber like alot less savings of over 100.00 hundreds of dollars.
