This is great masking tape, I use it to mark containers for freezing food and it is easy to write on and comes off without living a sticky residue.

If you are looking for a strong adhesion this is not the product you're looking for. If you want moderate adhesion for temporary taping and masking I haven't found a better masking tape than this one. It's especially useful for sealing furniture doors, drawers, and packages while moving, since it doesn't leave a mark and the tape itself is pretty sturdy. This means the experience of hand-ripping the tape is much better than the 3M one since it's easy to pick up the edge, and the tape doesn't sheer or tear in the middle or curl up and stick to itself. Depending on the surface the tape could stay on for a decade or more. I've taped attachments onto furniture that have lasted 12 years. Some surfaces only last for a few years. However they do leave a sticky residue if it's been attached for a long time, so if you plan to keep your surface clean you should remove it when the task is done. The residue is still much less than stronger adhesive tapes, though.

We bought this masking tape because it was the best price per quantity. We specifically use it to put labels on our food storage containers (to track when our food will expire). The tape sticks to the plastic food storage containers well (doesn't curl up) but also comes off easily when it's time to peel the tape off. It doesn't leave any sticky residue. Great quality!

Honestly, we don’t do a ton of packaging, but when we do this stuff works well. The price was good compared to other name brand stuff. It’s durable enough to have shipped a large over stuffed box to out of state. It never peeled and adhered well. I’m sure there is more color variety but we just got the clear version. Despite it being clear, it’s still visible. Fine color

Good masking tape. peels off clean. Exactly what I needed. also easy to tear and place. Standard thickness and standard color.

Excellent product. I have tried several brands of tape. All others would get stuck to the roll and tore when trying to use the tape. This tape is easy to use to the very end and has great adhesion.

This tape may or may not work for you. It depends on what the intended use is for. First off it is masking tape. Most masking tape is designed for temporary use. I purchased this tape to seal kitchen trash bags air tight before putting them in my collection bin. This avoids a stinky trash bin with a gross garbage smell. See attached photo. The product description says “Removes cleanly for up to 24 hours”. Read between the lines. I would not recommend leaving this of type of tape on a sensitive surface very long (less than 24 hours). To make a point some years back I left this type of masking tape on a window for about five days. Removing the glue residue turned into a second project. For long periods of time skip this tape and use painters tape. Overall at a purchase price of $2.29 in July 2022 I have no complaints.

As it is "general purpose" masking tape, I tend to use masking tape like this for almost everything - but not painting. Need to temporarily seal a box or put a note on a power cable, this tape will be used.
