I bought two in October for use at Christmas. Unfortunately when I installed the batteries at the beginning of December the inner unit of one candle dropped straight out. I had to use sellotape across the bottom to hold the battery compartment in place. The other candle stopped working altogether after only a few hours of use even though they should have lasted 1000 hours. My return date for Amazon had already expired so I complained direct to the manufacturer, Luminara who I think is in America. I gave plenty of detail regarding the fault and they responded promptly but only to send me a complaint form which seemed quite longwinded so I did not proceed.
