Will these work even though I have used 225 ft-lbs impact driver without any luck?

These are really meant to grab on to rounded-off nuts & bolts, where your impact socket just spins on the lug without loosening it. If your 225 ft-lb impact just hammers away and doesn’t spin the socket, these aren’t going to help. You’ll need to soak ‘em PB Blaster, get a long cheater bar, or put a lot of heat on those lugs to break the corrosion hold. Or a combo of those.

Where are these made?

Not sure. For what it's worth, they work. In the end, that's what matters. Very hardened metal.

are these to be used with impact tools? The description says they are heavy dury impact tools. Thank you , Peter

I did use both 1/2" & 13mm socket on rounded and rusted 15 year old rear differential cover bolts. Removed 10, failed on 4. Those 2 sockets are probably not functional now, but was worth it to remove the 10.
