Freezer Bars, 100% Fruit Juice Ice Pops, Original Flavors, 80 Ct

I mostly bought these because there's no color added. It isn't really socially acceptable to have a bright blue or purple mouth in public once you're an adult. I used to avoid certain flavors because of the color, but all the flavors for this are a light color. I do like that they're fruit juice because I sometimes split them with my dog (they are not meant for dogs but juice is okay in moderation). They're less messy than popsicles with sticks because they don't drip. After walks during summer, I can break off a few pieces to help him cool off and eat the rest. Flavors are pretty good. My favorite is probably blue raspberry. The main ingredient is apple juice, and you can tell in some of them. However, they do also taste like the different flavors, and I really like them. I imagine they would be great to give children because they wouldn't stain clothes as bad if they did drip. They're a nice, inexpensive treat to have in the freezer for hot days. The box is huge, so I only freeze a few at a time. The size of the pops are nice because they're not huge, but they're bigger than some brands I have tried. It will probably take a while to finish them, but I will order them again.

Dye free freezies!? Sign us up. Kids can still partake in all the fun without putting synthetic dyes into their body. They taste good too! So many other brands lose the flavors kids enjoy. Not these. They are so good! We go through a box quickly in the summer when it’s a free for all on eating. The pops are all yellow because their base is apple juice. Kids can still choose their color based on the otters colors on the package. I wish they were a little more inexpensive compared to the other brands but that’s okay. They are still so reasonable!

Both my kids and I love these otter pops! The clear color makes it so they don’t stain clothing and the flavor is amazing. I buy at least one box every summer to help keep my kiddos hydrated and cool. They are large otter pops so my kids only want one before being ready to play again where some of the smaller ones they want at least 2 every time.

Overall, I really like these Otter Pops and appreciate that they offer a healthier version of the original treat. It's nice to have an option made with 100% fruit juice, especially when buying them for kids. They still make for a refreshing frozen treat while offering a better alternative to the original version. My main complaint is the flavor distribution. Out of the entire box, there were only four grape pops. Grape happens to be my daughter's favorite flavor, so she was pretty disappointed when they were gone almost immediately while we still had plenty of every other flavor remaining. I understand that the assortment may vary, but only four grape pops in an entire box seems extremely unbalanced. This is ultimately the reason I deducted one star. There was also a packaging issue. Two of the pops had leaked inside the box, covering many of the others in sticky juice. Before I could put them in the freezer, I had to wash and dry all of the remaining pops, which was an annoying extra step after opening a brand-new package. Despite those issues, I still really like the product and would purchase it again. I appreciate having a healthier version of a classic treat that my daughter enjoys. A more balanced assortment of flavors, especially a few more grape pops, along with better quality control on the individual packaging would make these an easy five stars.

I really appreciate the dye free version of popsicles you provide. My grandchildren really love them and I can share some of my childhood nostalgia with them. The flavors are spot on and the texture is perfect. We will enjoy them all summer at the pool. Thank you very much.

These are amazing. Taste like original but doesn’t make you feel so crappy since there’s no dyes and 100% juice!

I’m a millennial so I feel a sense of loyalty to the original otter pop but when my youngest child was diagnosed eczema artificial dyes along with many other ingredients had to be removed from his diet. Like most reviews our package came wet and we lost probably 25 popsicles but the popsicle itself seem to be a good addition to our freezer My older kids who have had the original otter pop mentioned most of these taste like flavored apple juice and the texture of the pop isn’t always consistent . Some are slushie while others are icy but over all they do like them I can’t say for sure whether these helped my son with his eczema but he has not had any flare ups since we introduced them. They are also a great tool for potty training but I do think they are over priced. We purchased on sale but the original price was triple what the average retail price is for the originals. I would recommend maybe shaking them up before freezing To blend any sediment. We also find the texture is better when frozen vertically instead of horizontal but that’s just us .
