Perfect fit! I easily found this refill water filter on Amazon. I initially...quickly read over the instructions but, not fully. As a result of not taking the time to read it in its entirety, I thought something was wrong when I went to fill my glass with water, after Installing the filter and only running a HALF GALLON tea pitcher and dumping it ( The instructions clearly state to run at least 2 gallons of water through and dump it before use!) I noticed my water was cloudy with what looked like a faint color of blue ink in it! People...don't rush like i did, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! They are clear and easy to follow. After realizing my error 🙃 and correcting it, everything ran smoothly. This particular brand is a little more pricey than i anticipated, however it states you can get a good 6 months or longer out of this filter so I'm pleased. This brand is pretty good and the water taste way better now. Unfortunately, my husband kept clearing the red light on the fridge that indicates its time to replace the filter 😐 this resulted in our daughter getting a nasty little surprise in her cup one night! Thankfully, she had looked before putting the top to her cup back on and dumped the entire thing.

These are so easy to install and make me feel better about drinking water as I don’t trust the pipes in my house. Even the dog gets filtered water. Water always tastes great and have never had any issues. Wish they weren’t so expensive or had a two pack for a little less. But I seem to use one every six months has been my average. Never owned a refrigerator with a water dispenser before.

Great replacement filter! This is my second time ordering this filer. It arrived the very next day, which was a huge plus. Installation was quick and easy, and I immediately noticed a significant improvement in the water flow from my refrigerator's dispenser. It's great knowing it's a genuine GE filter that's certified to reduce lead and sulfur while providing clean, great-tasting water. I would definitely purchase this filter again.

I was looking for a generic replacement for XWFE type filtered but eventually settled for paying for the original OEM variant from GE as it was the only one that provided filtration quality certifications for NSF/ANSI that I wanted. It was really quick to take off and replace old fridge filter and insert this new one. It has a great design that doesn’t spill water or require turning off the water source like other filter replacements. Overall a decent value for the original OEM quality. I just wish there were more generic alternatives

Awesome replacement filter! This is my first time ordering this filer, and was pleasantly surprised that it arrived the very next day. Installation was quick and easy, and I immediately noticed an improvement in the water flow from my refrigerator's dispenser. Be sure to allow the fridge time for the water to filter through, pour out a couple glasses of water until it runs clear and all the air gets out. This filter definitely makes the water taste fresher and more crisp. I will for sure buy this product again.

When I installed it - got an ERR code. It's easy to think you installed it wrong as that is the main cause for the ERR code. A little research losactes the information that this item has an RFID chip and that if it is "bad" an ERR coce is the result. Glad to discover it wasn't me! I am very pleased that Amazon replaced the defective filter with a next day delivery and the replacement filter was fine.

This replacement filter is the perfect fit EZ installation. I just wish they lower the price.
