Need a ethernet jack in room on baseboards. This did the trick. Installed two connections for options in that office. Would recommend.

I bought five double port boxes rated for cat 6. All plastic but sturdy, I used a 110 punchdown tool and it worked well. The first of five had a broken connection of one of the signal lines between RJ45 and punchdown block, turned out to be a tiny break of a copper trace on its internal circuit board. A short jumper across the break fixed it. I also noticed where the punchdown blocks are soldered to the circuit board, half of the pads, 4 out of 8 per block, were never soldered! I opened the other four boxes and found unsoldered pads also in one more. Not only that but many of the soldered pads were only partially filled with solder. Partially filled pads work okay and may work for a very long time but they point to poor quality control. After fixing the problems the boxes work well. I very much like the double stick adhesive pad that comes with each box. The unsoldered pads would almost certainly cause future failures and so you should shop for a different product.
