Honestly, I waited the longest time before getting those, using the different bowls and containers I already have. But we Mary Kondo'd our containers (and lids that magically appeared), and I got these containers instead. If you cook a lot, like to entertain or do meal planning, this works great. Standard sizes that stack easily, good for the freezer for big batch cooking (stored a few liters of ramen broth this way), and clean quickly, in the dishwasher or by hand. The same goes for mise-en-place when doing multiple dishes. I just prep and measure everything so I only have to dump content at the right time while cooking.

These are handy for leftovers that I freeze. Once the lids on it’s a tight seal. But I haven’t tried with mostly liquid like soup yet. Overall, decent containers
