You can print cut lines if necessary. **Q: Do both axis have metric and imperial measurements on them?** A: Yes, Both X and Y axes have imperial and metric scales **Q: will this cut laminated (5mm film) cardstock?** A: Hopefully your laminate is "5 mil", which is .005" thick (a "mil" is a thousandth of an inch) rather than 5mm. I have cut menus laminated with 5 mil hot laminate on this cutter.
