Easy to install, works great on Mercedes Benz 190E

I bought this diesel tachometer hoping for better luck then what's been said in the reviews.. Well when I got it I hooked it up and readings were way off! I had to figure out what rpm my car was running at then set this tach to 8cyl which my car is only 4 then I used the screw in the back to dial it down. If I set this to 6 or 4 it would read way too high. It does work once set where it needs to be. I'll be running it for a little while to see how it reads then getting back with a follow up.

Had to set it to 8 cyl to kind of work for my 4 cyl and it’s sporadic. The light is barely visible. Can’t read the dial at night.

You have to take tach out of sleeve to get to adjustment screw. Instructions are vague at best.I did have to add a w wire to my alternator because I have a early 91 1st gen Cummins. But I can’t get it to adjust at all. In the 6 cyl setting it shows idle at 4,000 rpms. And that’s as far back as the adjusting screw will go. It stops there. So I don’t know what is wrong with it. I would love for this to work. But unfortunately it doesn’t also I’m down for any advise on this issue

Have not installed it yet on my gmc 6.2 diesel. Overall product looks better than expected for the price can't wait to see how it works.
