I have purchased reusable hanging dehumidifiers, the various types of throw away absorbers and after seeing my leather jackets and shoes with mildew, I finally bit the bullet and purchased this personal dehumidifier. I truly wish I would have done this a long time ago. I would have saved alot of money. This little dehumidifier is not overly large so it is not taking up much space on the floor of my closet. It is extremely quiet and will shut off if it gets too full. I try to empty it ever 2 or 3 days but if I miss I know it will not overflow. It is very portable and easy to empty. I can see a remarkable difference already. I have been using it for about a month. My clothes no longer smell damp and mildew is no longer on my shoes, jackets or purses. I would totally purchase this again. UPDATE...It is Oct of 2021 and it has stopped working. I contacted the company for its warranty and they responded quickly and will be replacing the unit. I can already tell a difference in my closet without having it running. I received a replacement within a week. The new one is improved with a built-in power cord instead of the power transformer type plug. Review: Small, Quiet, Cool, Effective! - I received this three weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. We’ve had problems with humidity on our boat and I don’t like the excessive plastic and expense of Damp-Rid, so these small dehumidifiers caught my eye. I read through a lot of reviews, and this one seemed the best in terms of sound (it’s practically silent), water capacity (much larger than the competing models I considered), and heat output (none whatsoever, so this little beauty doesn’t compete with the A/C). I purchased the protection plan just in case, but I couldn’t be happier with the product. It’s small, about the size of a smaller bathroom wastebasket. It’s sleek and sharp yet unobtrusive, with just a small blue light bar—no flashing color show. Best of all, it works beautifully. Our interior area is about 140sf and moisture removed from the air in a week’s time far exceeds that of two DampRid 14-oz. hanging bags. I plan to buy another, as I’m using DampRid in a finished basement and last week opened a new bag only to discover the following day that it was defective and leaking on a nice rug. When I wiped it up the water collected was gross and oily, so not only is there a lot of plastic waste with DampRid, but the moisture collected seems like a pollutant. Thankfully, I found a solution in this COSVII unit. Highly recommended for smaller spaces! ## Features - SUPERIOR DEHUMIDIFICATION & EXCELLENT LOW-TEMP: Boasting an ultra-large daily moisture removal capacity up to 8000ml, our rotary desiccant dehumidifier features drastically stronger dehumidifying performance than regular Semiconductorunits on the market. What sets it apart from compressor dehumidifiers is its stable all temperature performance: It works steadily at 5–15°C with no performance drop in cold environments. Perfectly fitting basements, cellars, cabins where conventional dehumidifiers cannot work well. - ULTRA-QUIET NIGHTTIME SLEEP DESIGN, IDEAL FOR BEDROOMS & REST SPACES: Custom low-speed 1200RPM sleep fan mode drops operating noise to ≤46dB, quieter than a household refrigerator for undisturbed rest. The adjustable 7-color RGB ambient lighting can be fully switched off with one tap, eliminating light disruption at night. Perfect for bedrooms and RV sleeping areas if you’re sensitive to sound or light. - SMART TOUCH PANEL & CUSTOMIZABLE FUNCTIONS: TIMING + DIY RGB LIGHTING: Sleek touch control panel replaces clunky mechanical knobs for effortless one-touch operation. Supports 2/4/6-hour automatic shutdown timer; lock your favorite single hue from 7 vibrant RGB lights or turn off the lighting entirely to match your ambiance needs. Built-in exclusive aroma tray lets you add your favorite essential oils to customize a fresh, pleasant scent while dehumidifying—an exclusive extra feature ordinary dehumidifiers lack. - RAPID MOISTURE EXTRACTION FOR VALUABLES PROTECTION: High-sensitivity digital hygrostat detects ambient humidity every 3 seconds, stabilizing indoor humidity within ±2% of your preset level. Its high-capacity dehumidifying power speeds up air and clothes drying, effectively shielding wardrobes, books, musical instruments. - DUAL DRAIN OPTIONS & COMPLETE SAFETY PROTECTION: Two drainage solutions for hassle-free use: use the built-in large water tank for small spaces, or connect the included external drain hose for continuous drainage to skip frequent emptying. The 2.5L tank triggers auto shutoff with beep alert and flashing red light once full to prevent overflow.Compared to bulky traditional compressor dehumidifiers, our desiccant model achieves powerful dehumidification with lower energy consumption for long-term cost savings. - LIGHTWEIGHT PORTABLE ALL-IN-ONE UNIT FOR MULTI-SCENE USE: Compact slim build (9.8"L x 6.4"W x 15.7"H, only 9 lbs) with a hidden carry handle for easy room-to-room movement. No complicated assembly required—plug and play instantly. Fits seamlessly under desks, sinks, closet nooks and RV storage compartments. Powerful coverage up to 2500 sq.ft, suitable for basements, bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, RVs and cabins to cover all your damp-proof demands with one single device. - ENERGY-EFFICIENT OPERATION: Designed for efficient moisture removal while helping reduce energy consumption compared with larger conventional dehumidifiers. Suitable for everyday use in bedrooms, bathrooms, RVs and storage spaces. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B086GQBW4G | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,097,516 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #2,164 in Dehumidifiers | | Brand | COSVII | | Brand Name | COSVII | | Capacity | 4.3 pounds | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 3,037 Reviews | | Dehumidification Capacity | 0.45 pints_per_day | | Floor Area | 480 square_feet | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 5.91"D x 8.19"W x 13.27"H | | Item Weight | 4.3 pounds | | Model Name | COSVII | | Model Number | [Predicted Model Number] | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Continuous | | Other Special Features of the Product | Automatic Shutoff, LED Power Indicator, Portable, Quiet Operation | | Part Number | MMTT-DE/D-109 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Home | | Special Feature | Automatic Shutoff, LED Power Indicator , Portable, Quiet Operation | | Tank Volume | 68 fluid ounces | | UPC | 738596049102 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wattage | 68 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** COSVII - **Floor Area:** 850 Square Feet - **Color:** Blue - **Special Feature:** Portable - **Capacity:** 5.3 Pounds - **Tank Volume:** 85 Fluid Ounces - **Product Dimensions:** 5.91"D x 8.19"W x 13.27"H - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Home - **Item Weight:** 68 Ounces - **Wattage:** 75 ## Images ![Dehumidifiers for Home & Basement, 2500 Sq.Ft Small Dehumidifier with Aroma Tray, 5ft Drain Hose, 74oz Water Tank, Timer & Sleep Mode, Portable Dehumidifier for Bathroom, Bedroom, RV, Closet - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61VP4-niNUL.jpg) ![Dehumidifiers for Home & Basement, 2500 Sq.Ft Small Dehumidifier with Aroma Tray, 5ft Drain Hose, 74oz Water Tank, Timer & Sleep Mode, Portable Dehumidifier for Bathroom, Bedroom, RV, Closet - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71XkwzAJLYL.jpg) ![Dehumidifiers for Home & Basement, 2500 Sq.Ft Small Dehumidifier with Aroma Tray, 5ft Drain Hose, 74oz Water Tank, Timer & Sleep Mode, Portable Dehumidifier for Bathroom, Bedroom, RV, Closet - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71B5j7QUwPL.jpg) ![Dehumidifiers for Home & Basement, 2500 Sq.Ft Small Dehumidifier with Aroma Tray, 5ft Drain Hose, 74oz Water Tank, Timer & Sleep Mode, Portable Dehumidifier for Bathroom, Bedroom, RV, Closet - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71IYGoOzAPL.jpg) ![Dehumidifiers for Home & Basement, 2500 Sq.Ft Small Dehumidifier with Aroma Tray, 5ft Drain Hose, 74oz Water Tank, Timer & Sleep Mode, Portable Dehumidifier for Bathroom, Bedroom, RV, Closet - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ydhR+zspL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why is water absorption efficiency low ? My apartment is very humid because my roommate has a bunch of tropical house plants, and the moisture condenses on the exterior walls in the winter time because of the temperature difference. The walls are textured too and I had big problems with mold growing behind furniture. I put this dehumidifier in my room and sometimes it filled nearly half way full in just one day. It is quite quiet and I can sleep with it on without much issue. The blue light that is constantly on is a bit bothersome at night, but I just cover it up. The auto shut off is very helpful so I can leave it run during the day and not worry about it. Great purchase, and good bang for your buck. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dehumidifier for Home 68 OZ Small Dehumidifiers for Bedroom 2500 Cubic Feet(800sq ft) with 7 LED Lights, Ultra Quiet & Auto Shut off Dehumidifier for Bathroom Basement Closet Garage RV - Dehumidifier,TABYIK 35 OZ Small Dehumidifiers for Room for Home, Quiet with Auto Shut Off, Dehumidifiers for Bedroom (280 sq. ft), Bathroom, RV, Closet --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/207340400-dehumidifiers-for-home-and-basement-2500-sq-ft-small-dehumidifier](https://www.desertcart.is/products/207340400-dehumidifiers-for-home-and-basement-2500-sq-ft-small-dehumidifier) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
