Tamiya 24354 Ford 1/24 Mustang GT4

Love this kit fantastic detail

One of the best kits I have ever had the pleasure of putting together. The pieces fit like a glove and most of the detailed parts are large enough to be handled without difficulty (although you will need tweezers for some of the smaller ones). It's worth every penny... even when the additional cost of those little extras is included. To do this model justice you are also going to need a precision glue dispenser like Revell Professional, please don't try making it with glue from a tube. You'll need masking tape at times even though it comes supplied with masks to use when painting around the edges of windows etc. As for paints I reckon the bare minimum you can get away with (using acrylics) is primer, german grey (if you want the grey one) and semi gloss white (for the white one and the interior of both), gunmetal (essential if you want the wheels to look good), semi gloss black, matt black, aluminium (you can also use that instead of chrome silver), red and orange (for the lights). Thats quite a bill and if you want to go for the full monty there's even more you can add (like metallic blue and the exhaust / brakes look brilliant when painted gold...). So there you go - if you are happy to pay the extra, just go for it because this model is an absolute cracker.

Ich bin absoluter Mustang Fan und habe genau deshalb dieses Modell gebaut. Weil ich zu faul war, die Karosse zu lackieren, habe ich mich für die weiße Variante entschieden. Es ist zwar teilweise eine Fummelei, die kleinen, sehr detailgetreuen Teile zusammen zu bauen, aber man wird mit einem schönen Modell belohnt. Die Passgenauigkeit der Teile ist hervorragend. Leider gibt es so etwas von Tamiya nicht im Maßstab 1:10 oder 1:12.

Well detailed but would be even better with a whole engine. I recommend because Tamiya is so far the best I've built
