I used these to replaced my Radion G5 XR15 power bricks as they intermittently turn off by itself. Many said it is the light itself. I do not believe that is the case, as I can always turn them back on after unplug and replug the power supply. So I took a chance to just change out the bricks with these. This works wonders and it never goes out ever since. I had my doubt but now I test and it has been more than 18 months since I purchased and started to use these as replacements.

I have purchased 3 of these, initially a single and then 6 months later a 2 pack. I used them to replace the original power supplies on my Ecotech Radion XR15 LED lights on my 150 gallon salt water aquarium. A couple of the original power supplies stopped working after a few years of service, and since they were rated at an output of 3.12 amps at 24 volts, I decided to buy the Alitove 24 volt 5 amp units. They plugged right in and powered the lights without any issues. I am giving the power supply a rating of 4 stars for a couple of reasons. After 11 months of service one of the power supplies started acting up. It would cause the LED lights to vary in intensity (flicker) so I'm sure the 24 volt output was changing, and then the light would turn off indicating the power supply shut down. Touching the power supply it felt very hot to the touch, so I'm sure the internal temperature sensor caused it to turn off. The power supply has a 12 month warranty so I contacted Alitove via Amazon. Within a few days a replacement power supply was sent to me by way of Amazon for overnight delivery. The combination of 2 of the 3 power supplies still working fine, and the quick replacement of the malfunctioning unit by Alitove is why I am giving the power supply 4 stars. The original power supply from Ecotech Marine lasted 6 years and they were made in China like these Alitove units are. I hope these new power supplies give me a few years of service.

Impressive build quality. I got the one with the long cord (13ft or something like that) because I hate little stubby cords. This one was not only long bit also has a heavy gage cord that feels like it was made to last.

I panicked a little when I couldn’t find the power supply for an expensive Vornado fan that I purchased last year. I have found that it is often difficult to purchase parts from manufacturers ifor devices that you already own. I was going to call Vornado, but it was after hours. I decided to check Amazon, and I was a bit surprised to find that they had what I needed, at a very fair price, and it was available for delivery the next day. My power supply was delivered in excellent condition and the little plug that goes to the fan fit perfectly. In less 24 hours my fan was up and running and cooling me again . This power supply works great with my fan, thanks to Prime shipping I received the part I needed over-night with free shipping. In this very warm weather I am cool and happy again.

I bought this for a small amplifier I'm playing with. The Amp specifications call for something in the range of 12 to 24 VDC at 5A. I also needed the 5.5x2.5mm connector plug. I plugged your power supply in as soon as I got it, and the amp came to life. At 24VDC, there is plenty of power to drive the small speakers I'm using. Everything worked as it should. I connected Bluetooth speakers, CD players and even my phone using pandora. In all cases the power supply worked without a hitch. The best thing you can say is I didn't even notice it and I was able to focus on the amp and peripherals with the power supply running quietly in the background. I would recommend it
