“Elegant and Durable for Every Occasion!”
This dinnerware set is absolutely beautiful! The white finish gives a clean, classy look that goes well with any table setting. The plates and cups feel sturdy and high-quality. I’ve used them for both everyday meals and special dinners — they always look amazing. Uses: Perfect for daily family meals, formal dinners, parties, or gifting for weddings and housewarmings.

Durable and looks great
Love these dishes. Bought to replace my Mikasa Garden Harvest which I loved but which scratched badly from silverware. Have been using these everyday for a couple of months and no scratches. Lighter than the Mikasa stoneware, so another plus. And the white is so versatile. Pattern is same as Mikasa Swirl White bone china, which offers more accessory pieces. These dishes are perfect for me

Excellent dishes and easy to get replacements
This is an absolutely beautiful set of dishes. This was my first time buying bone china and there is such a huge difference between these and the set of cheap stoneware I had before--they are more uniform in size, so much thinner and lighter and so far nothing has put a scratch on them. They also don't take up nearly as much room as my old dishes--the bowls in particular fit nicely into each other so I only need one stack in my cabinet where I used to have to have two. I really love the simple pattern around the edges and these will work well for casual dining as well as fancier dinners. I did end up requesting a replacement mug and two replacement bowls from Mikasa due to small defects and they were friendly and fast about shipping them to me. If you buy these dishes I recommend you run your hands over all the surfaces to make sure there aren't any little defects that may be difficult to see but very obvious and pointy when you happen to touch them.

I'm glad I bought this
Sometimes you get a product that you're happy with initially. Then there are other products where you quietly think 'I'm glad I bought this'. That is what I was thinking last night while having dinner. When we bought this dinnerware set we could tell it was quality, light weight, functional, with simple elegance. But I was worried that the set may not be very durable or worth the extra cost. After 2 years I am happier now than when I bought the dinnerware set. It looks nearly as good today as when it came out of the box. This surprises me because plates will always get scratches or chips when used every day, and this set is used every day. Even stacking plates can dull the finish. I was happy when I got the set, and even more satisfied today. I would buy these again, but may never have to.

Very thick for bone china
This dinnerware is attractive, but I can't evaluate its durability, because I returned it. Although each piece is marked "bone china" the thickness of each item makes it look like standard stoneware. The glazing on each piece is also not as lustrous as other bone china I own. So if that's OK by you, then you will probably really like this dinnerware, as bone china is far more durable and lightweight than the stoneware this china resembles.

Lightest plate I ever picked up & quality too
I moved a few months ago & didn’t bring any dishes with me as mine were so heavy & mostly used paper plates. I kept searching until I found ones I really liked. But most importantly, I have a bad back & zero strength in my arms so it was very important for me that the plates were extremely light to carry. These are so much lighter than any other plate I picked up. And they didn’t skimp in quality. It’s not plastic. And the details around the rim are beautiful. Every dish was delivered in a box with a lot of cardboard and wrap & none were broken. I’m really overjoyed with how easily I can carry them.

Did not hold up well
I bought these plates in late 2019 and started using them in Jan 2020 on a daily basis. They were beautiful when new. It is now Aug, 2023 and I am very disappointed how these plates have weathered. The finish is “wearing away” after just 3 years. These plates are not abused. Just used for daily meals, washed in a dishwasher, and very occasionally used in a microwave. So disappointing. UPDATE: After just 4 1/2 years of use, they need to be replaced. Horrible quality. The finish is so worn that these dishes no longer even clean properly. I bought Mikasa due to their supposed quality and reputation. Running a household for decades, I have never had dishes need replacing due to wear. I buy quality, which is what I thought I was buying. What a mistake and a waste of money!

1 Broken Plate
These are beautiful, lightweight and simple. The sale price was enticing, I ordered 2 sets of 16 pcs. I had already opened 99% of the plates and put everything in the dishwasher... the last item was a broken salad plate!! I didn't feel like returning the whole set since I was kind of careless with the inner boxes and had already torn and folded them for recycling.I had to purchase a single salad plate for an extra $16.50 . The actual Mikasa box was in another plain box and very securely packed. The inner packaging of the Mikasa box could have been sturdier though. Perhaps the plate broke while they were packing it and nothing was said. I am happy with the plates regardless of the broken one :)

I love Mikasa and my previous two dinner sets have been Mikasa. I like the design and the fact it is bone china and chip resistant.
