Update- I had a mascara emergency recently ( I lost it while applying in the car, stoped, of course) or it fell out of the car for the walk of tardy shame for kid 2….it was a run into Walgreens and I didn’t want to spend a ton for what I may find later. Welcome to my life Wet n wild in the purple tube (waterproof over my primer), it has the same brush, I still poked myself in the eye, but I could tell no difference. Price tag, under $3 on sale. Zero flaking, zero smudge. Never did I think I would love a $3 mascara. Maybe fresher than this one? IDK. I may just have been converted. Original/ First I will say that I am a total mascara snob, I do not go ANYWHERE without mascara on. I have used Lancôme for 20+ years and any time I found the “next greatest” mascara and tried it I was so disappointed. I read lots of reviews and could hardly believe that THIS product could be this amazing. I expected a good mascara but nothing that blew me away. I was so wrong! The first time I tried it my lashes looked amazing! I have long and very thick lashes so many mascaras clump the lashes together, even my beloved Lancôme. The ones that do not clump do not seem to produce any noticeable results. THIS mascara not only gave perfect coverage from root easily to tip, it is a perfect level of thickness. There is NO CLUMPING! I have used it over my Lancôme primer just because I find that I get less under the eye mascara as the day progresses. However when I haven’t the lashes still look long, thick and defined. And it is absolutely the best single cosmetic product I have ever used! The brush took a few tries to really feel like I got it, but making sure the very tip is wiped is key to a random blob on my lid. I admit that having used different brushes for so long that I stabbed myself in the eye the first time I used it but that was entirely my fault. I also have always used a waterproof mascara, in heat and humidity it just stays better, however this has amazing staying power. I often fall asleep without removing makeup, but this is still looking great when I get up and is easily removed by my usual facial cleanser. I have not needed eye makeup remover. This was by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. Everyone needs to try this!!! I will add pictures if I can to the review. Edit- I am now on maybe my 4th tube (the first one is still pretty “fresh” and have tried a few others since buying this (ok, I’m obsessed with mascara!) AND given this as gifts multiple times and this still is by far the best mascara I’ve ever used. I have not gotten the waterproof version even though that is normally what I would go with because this one stays put so well. Seriously not sure how it is so inexpensive. Love it and everyone I have given this to has then ordered it.

I REALLY like this mascara! I was scraping the bottom of my fave (Color Street) but I really wasn’t feeling $32 + shipping (even though it’s awesome!) I saw this one while scrolling an influencer page. The reviews were good and the price was excellent, so I decided to try it. It went on easily without clumping or gluing my lashes together and looked natural (but better!) I wore it all day yesterday without any irritation or under-eye smudges, and it came off easily with micellar water last night. I think I’ve found a new favorite!

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this mascara. The formula goes on smoothly and adds noticeable length and definition without clumping or weighing my lashes down. One coat gives a natural, defined look, and a second coat builds nicely without getting spidery. The brush separates lashes well and makes it easy to reach even the smaller inner and outer corner lashes. I didn’t experience flaking or smudging throughout the day, which is a big plus, and it held its curl better than I expected. Another thing I appreciated is that it was comfortable to wear and didn’t irritate my eyes. It removed easily at the end of the day with regular makeup remover, without excessive rubbing. Overall, this mascara delivers clean definition and long-lasting wear at a great price point. It’s a solid everyday option and something I’d confidently recommend to anyone looking for reliable length and separation.

This mascara is not that special. WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR, MY MASCARA WISH LIST My lashes are red-head pale and not very long, so the mascara of my dreams would do the following 1) Color lashes all the way to the base 2) Separate lashes 3) No clumps 4) Extend lashes 5) No black specks drifting down my face 6) Able to get to the tiny lashes at the corners of the eyes 7) Has a slender applicator 8) Curls while it coats THIS MASCARA This mascara, “Vivienne Sabó - Artistic Volume, No Clump” is the newest in my search for a near-perfect mascara. While it’s not terrible, it’s not that special either. *It does seem to be non-clumping and the slender applicator barrel is easy to hold. But that’s about it. The mascara itself is thinner in consistency than most other mascaras. This makes it less likely to clump and probably allows more control in application. It also makes the color look more natural, not shoe-polish black. *It doe not, however, leave the lashes completely separated. *A second coat is darker and thicker of course, but thicker also goes towards spiky—lashes stuck together. *No black speck shedding, but also no lash extension. Note: Under a bright light with reading glasses, the applicator brush looks exactly like that of the Maybelline Define-A-Lash (the one in the green tube). Conclusion: This isn’t great for me, but it’s probably a good every-day mascara for someone with dark hair and naturally thicker lashes ( therefore, four stars). OTHERS I’VE LIKE Just for reference, here are some mascaras that I’ve liked for various reasons: *Lancome Grandiose Extreme. The formula is thick, but the curved brush curls lashes as it goes on and it’s amazing. *Maybelline Full ‘n Soft. It’s light, but feathery and natural looking, a good choice for an un-made-up look. *Maybelline Mini-brush Waterproof, as a final step, gets every last lash. *The Vixen Fiber mascara set, alternating coats of “transplanting gel” (basically glue), and dark fibers. Carefully applied, this looks almost as good as false eyelashes, without having to worry about a dangling eyelash in the heat of passion. (Major speck watch though.) MASCARA APPLICATION TIPS I’m no expert, but as long as I’m writing, here are some techniques that are useful to me. I keep my eyelashes dyed. When freshly done, this gives me lashes dark to the base of the lash and also lets me wake up with visible eyelashes. Of course, before applying mascara, brush and separate lashes with a clean spoolie brush. I apply a bit of light eye shadow on the eyelid above the lash line. I use the pink end of an eye highlighter stick. The contrast really highlights the lashes. I wipe any excess mascara off the brush before applying. Brush through with a spoolie after each coat to remove any excess before it dries. Next I hit the tips of lashes lightly with a lash extending mascara Next: use the tiny-brush mascara to coat the remaining tiny lashes. Finally, fill in the lash line. Using a very small brush, dot eye shadow in between lashes at the baseline. This makes lashes look both longer and thicker. ELF makes a nice make-up remover pen for any unwanted smudges.

I really like this mascara! It lengthens, doesn’t clump to look like tarantula legs, doesn’t make your lashes look stiff or clumpy—-just long, thick and soft. It wears really well but comes off very easily whenever i wash my face. Very happy with it—great price, too!

Nice product for an older woman. Light coverage doesn’t add too much. Brown is a perfect color. No clumping.

Great mascara gives volume and length to my thin lashes and doesn’t transfer under my eyes highly recommend!
