Is this red primer or clear top coat? Description and title don't match.

It's the clear gloss finish, they are showing a picture of a qt can of red primer but the ITEM description is J3890 which is the clear gloss finish coat

What is the window for recoating the clear gloss

Read the application guide readily available via web search. From memory you want the first coat of gloss to go on within a day of the stain. I believe the first coat of gloss has to sit overnight. Subsequent coats can be applied as soon as the previous coat has cured. The wordage they use is something like “when your thumb no longer makes an impression”. Best applied on a warm humid day. I have applied 4 coats in a day.
