Great tape. Sticks to everything I've packed for shipping. Tape is thick, but not too thick. I would definitely buy again and recommend. I had been using Scotch brand tape from WalMart. It did not stick well. As stated, the Mr. Pen tape has stuck to everything I've packed for shipping. Doesn't peel up when folded over the corner of the box.

Need tape that won’t tear into strands while using? This is it! It is super easy to use, works as it should, and is the standard size. Sticks and stay stuck like tape should. Will buy again. Good price too.

It's good tape, sticks well and does the job, but there's a strong chemical odor from the tape.

I have been running a home business for going on 6 years now, and i ship out various size packages nearly every day. Everything from small to large cardboard/recycled boxes, poly mailers, manilla envelopes to manilla and poly bubble mailers. I have tried a LOT of different tape over the years, and I've tested both "packing" and "shipping" style tape (standard and "heavy duty") to see if there's really much of a difference. (I learned that "Packing" tape holds up better than shipping tape in extreme heat and for a longer period of time.) I had been using Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping stuff for about 2 years but really haven't been satisfied with it. I had been too afraid to try a different brand because, what if it's horrible? Then I'm stuck with 4-6 rolls of tape I don't wanna use since no one seems to sell 1 or 2 rolls, you have to buy in bulk. Something changed awhile ago with the Scotch brand, the adhesive seem to only stick and stay stuck to poly material, NOT cardboard, and DEFINITELY not manilla/paper envelopes. It even seems like the tape itself is got obnoxiously thicker, which I already disliked in the first place. SO, after failing MISERABLY to securely seal 15 manilla bubble mailers one day, (didn't stay stuck to a single one) I throw in the towel with Scotch and figured anything would still better than tape that wouldn't still at all, and started searching on Amazon for just 1 or 2 rolls to test out before I decided to commit to buying a 4-8 roll pack. I came across the listing for the 2 large rolls of Mr. Pen tape, and it appeared to be thinner than the two big name brands (that everyone on Amazon seems to love for some reason), and I only had to risk buying 2 rolls, unlike most of the brands. I am SO HAPPY I found this tape! This is honestly the best shipping tape I've used in at least 5 years, and I'll never go back to that thick, non-stick name brand junk again. This tape is thinner than the more popular brands, but Mr. Pen shipping tape actually holds MORE weight in a box WITHOUT coming off vs the duck or other big brand!! The big rolls fit perfect into my standard handheld dispenser, and the BEST Part, this tape STICKS and STAYS STUCK to EVERYTHING! It's crystal clear so the carriers can still scan the barcodes through it, and it seriously has more stay-stuck power than any other tape I've ever used. I wouldn't really recommend it if you're taping plastic totes shut for long term storage, but if your like me and you need a strong, reliable, go-to tape is for sealing and mailing envelopes, boxes, and other types of packages on a regular basis... BUY THIS TAPE! You'll wonder how you've gone so long without it! *Note: For all the MOMS & DADS (or anyone else) with lil' ones at home who tend to tape up all their packages at while the kids are sleep... I did notice this tape is LOUD, and even when I slooowly pull the tape off the roll, it's still makes more noise than the other brands I've used. It's not like crazy loud, but it might be helpful if you normally do most of your taping while others are asleep close by.

A Good Buy

The sticky is not as strong as some that I've used, but the tape itself is stronger than most. Most times you can't just snap it apart. You actually have to poke it with something to start to tear. Because it's not super sticky when you lose the end, it's not hard to get it going again.

The adhesive tape isn't very sticky, and its quality isn't as good as expected
