A four-hour mini-series that perfectly captures an era, a culture, and an often overlooked side of organized crime. Set during the 1950s and '60s, LOVE, HONOR and OBEY: THE LAST MAFIA MARRIAGE looks at a very human story against the backdrop of violence and crime. Both Rosalie Profaci (Nancy McKeon) and Bill Bonanno (Eric Roberts) are from prominent Mafia families, and their marriage cements an alliance between the two. Despite their connections, they are happily living their lives outside of the crime world, until Bill is forced to take over the family business. Slowly his business begins to overtake his life, and Rosalie attempts to keep their family together and shield them from the harsh realities of their situation. Review: WOW! Great Movie! - My heart just broke for Rosalie Bonanno, what a life! I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen the movie so I won't give details about the movie. Eric Roberts and Nancy McKeon are brilliant as Bill and Rosalie Bonanno. Highly recommend. Review: Good Story - I don't know if this is based on truth or not, but if it is, it's about the Bonano crime family. I got it because I had seen it before and thought it was interesting from the point of view of one of the wives, Mrs. Rosalie Bonano, and all she went through being a part of that life. I love Nancy McKeon and I thought she did a wonderful job in the role. I also love Eric Roberts and he did a great job in his role, as well.

Great Movie
I saw this movie on TV a long time ago and have been waiting for it to come to DVD. The acting is excellent. The actors portrayed how life was for families in the mafia. I looked on Amazon Today to see if they might have it and when I saw it I was so excited. I will actually be able to get the DVD and watch when I want.

Nancy McKeon and Eric Roberts what a combo
I truly do love this movie. Nancy McKeon is fantastic. Eric Roberts just gives you his best as you just cant help but hate him. He was well cast as a Mafia King you can just feel his feeling of entitlement. A good plot with some great performances.

Entertaining story
I enjoyed this DVD, not really knowing quite what to expect by the title. Found myself captivated by the whole story and the actors portrayed these characters in a very convincing way. Eric Roberts as Bill Bonanno was very appealing and convincing. He always managed to seduce Rosalie, played by Nancy McKeon- his young innocent wife who eventually finds the strength to make a life of her own and support her family..... It's amazing that they eventually stayed together and seemed to be still in love over many years.

A story of overcoming
I had waited and waited for this to be released on dvd, as it was such a touching story with great acting. I think Nancy McKeon did a fabulous job portraying how life was for someone who had been sheltered from her family's true identity and involvements. She evolved and triumphed with the deck stacked against her since she entered that union. It is the only role I have enjoyed Eric Roberts in, but I think he did a great job as Bill/Salvatore. It is a love story in its truest sense as they had a marriage that lasted despite all the hurdles.

FREDO WOULD LOVE THIS ONE
Excellent mob movie based on real life mafia couple. For some unknown reason Americans have a fascination with the Italian mafia. I'm no exception. I have three entire shelves of my movie library dedicated to mob movies and this one is a welcome addition to my library.
