Great Bark Deterrent Collar for Busy Dog Moms!
I love this dog bark collar!! The story: I am a dog mom of two large dogs (one is a catahoula and the other is a border collie whippet mix). Both are so spoiled and loved, and they are used to living their best life. Over COVID, I lived in a household where three of us worked remotely from home. It was so stressful, and the dogs barking at an Amazon van made a stressful day so much worse. I love my dogs, so I did not want anything harsh or harmful that would hurt them (no shock collars). This vibrating collar was the perfect find. Functionality: It works really well. It vibrates uncomfortably on the dogs' neck when they bark. It 100% stopped them barking at nothing (vans, buses, some rando walking by). I have never had any issue with it going off accidentally (when the dog didn't bark). We did use the highest setting (it gives you options). Shock Level: No shock, vibration only. Gentle and perfect for your spoiled, sweet, furry friend. Training tool: I was just trying to stop the barking, so I did not purchase this with the intention of using it for training. I just needed the barking to stop. For my dogs, they are themselves (bark like before) when the collar isn't on. If someone has to jump on a remote meeting from home, then we just put the collars on. PROS: Gentle (no shock), fits different dogs well (my dogs are both 70 lbs but one is stockier than the other), different intensity levels, easy to set up, easy to put on, can put it on and leave dogs normal collar on, spoiled dogs tolerate it well, stops unwanted barking almost instantly. CONS: Needs charging regularly, I keep losing the collar and the charger (but that's a personal problem), no app connection (like some shock collars), no property boundaries (like some shock collars). In summary, this is a simple, easy to use gentle alternative to a shock collar that does its job (deters dogs from barking when they are wearing the collar).

Great Training Tool and will Save Your Sanity
I have a Jack Russell that has taken to frenetically barking and nearly everything. I have tried many methods to try and quiet him down and none of it worked. I saw this product, and while I was a bit skeptical at first, I decided to get it as I was at the end of my rope on trying to control my dog's barking. This collar has helped SO MUCH! The first time my dog barked with the collar on, the vibrations diverted his attention long enough for me to get through to him and make him settle down. Now my command of, "Hush," actually holds weight, as the collar provides a consistently unpleasant (but safe/non-harmful) consequence for not listening. Utilizing the collar, command, and rewards for listening gives me solid hope that the collar will soon be mostly decorative. The collar itself has a pleasant and sleek design. At first glance it doesn't really look like an e-collar. The beep/vibrate module itself isn't too large for a 20lb dog and it doesn't affect his day-to-day flexibility. The collar does not have a D-ring, so it cannot be used for walking or attaching traditional ID tags. The battery lasts a while, especially once my dog started activating it less. It needs charged about every 2 weeks, and putting it on the charger before my dog takes a nap leaves the collar fully charged once he wakes up. The activation of the collar controls his barking without being too restricting or sensitive. It does not activate when he whines or growls (so he is still able to communicate) and Mode 3 allows him to alert bark (1 - 3 brisk barks) without the collar going off (though in this mode it will still keep him from escalating to frenetic barking). The collar also doesn't easily mistake other sounds for him barking (even in Mode 5), as my big dog has barked within 4 feet of him without activating the collar. There have also been moments where other traditionally loud sounds have been going on (door slams, hammers, loud voices) and the collar not activate. I'm guessing the environment would have to be significantly loud for the collar to go off and the likelihood of that happening in a typical household is small (this collar is turned off when he is outside of the house). I have also heard that this collar will not activate if the dog howls, but my dog is not a significant howler, and the collar did activate the one time he did howl with it on (though I will note that his howls always start with barks so that may be why). When the collar was first introduced, my dog had a single spell where he tested it pretty hard, so I want to point out that the beeping and vibration will vary/become more intense if your dog chooses to ignore the first beep/vibration. So just like with any other training tool I highly advise supervising your dog with it, so they can be shown what to do/how to stop the collar going off as I can see how this can freak out an unsupervised dog. All-in-all, this collar is really what my dog needed to show him that barking is not always necessary. Sometimes you can train a dog to settle down without a bark collar, but in the cases where those other methods are not working, this is the collar for you. This collar has really saved my sanity and it has allowed my dog to better understand exactly what I want from him. If there's one thing I dislike, I dislike the fact that I didn't get this collar sooner.

Works great
My dog will bark at anyone and everyone who enters a room and it drives me nutso. But she has anxiety and is hyper vigilant so that's why she barks and I was hesitant to try a bark collar but it was driving me so nutso that I had to try something. I didn't want a collar that would shock her and this vibration collar seemed like a good compromise. For my dog, this works great. She hates the beep and is not fond of the vibration and it took her no time at all to realize her barking set it off. She will whine with this on but will not bark, at least not more than once her twice once it beeps at her. I love that it's rechargeable, but the battery doesn't last too long when it's powered off and not in use which isn't the greatest. Otherwise I think it's a great product and the price point is great too. You can also put it on a different collar if needed very easily. It has only had one misactivation when my other dog was very close to the one wearing it and barking. I turned the sensitivity down and it's not happened since.

Works well
Just recently moved and switched from a family home to a 2 person home. My girl had alot of trouble adjusting expecially with being home alone. She barks, whimpers and howls while I'm at work. Our neighbors called the sheriff on us after just 2 days of moving in. I was put in a situation to either rehome her or get her to be quiet in a 1 week span. I did not want to get her a shock collar nor did i want to rehome her, so I got this instead. With an honest review the product is very easy and did stop her barking and howling but it does not detect whimpering. It only has 5 levels of sensitivity and 2 vibration options. Most of which does detect both barking and howling but whimpering even at the highest level it will not detect. It does move around a bit which is annoying cause you have to adjust it a bit here and there but it's not the worst. as long and its not moving to the back of her neck im good. If your dog is very strong willed I do not see this product working much for you. my girl is big headed and is starting to acclimate to the vibrations and at times will bark past them. I will say to invest into a more expensive one that has a wider range of vibration levels and sensitivity. All in all it's a good product just not the best. You get what you pay for with this one. I am now investing in a monitor to help pair along with this product.

This thing is amazing!
I don't write reviews...ever! But as I was on my walk in the park with my incredibly barky, loud, squeaky dachshund mix this morning I couldn't wait to get home and write this one. He's a weiner and he's a puppy...and he makes noise literally ALL of the time. He's been driving me and my husband crazy since he came to live with us. Don't get me wrong, we love the little monster...but we really had no idea just how much weiners bark. So in comes the bark collar out of desperation. We really didn't want to do it, even though they call it humane it just seemed like we would be dampening his spirit. Well let me tell you...his spirit has not been dampened one bit but his bark sure has! I put this on for the first time just this morning...he barked twice, got "vibrated"...and this has now been the quietest day we've had in almost three months! And he doesn't seem to mind which is the best part. This thing is worth the money twice over, it works great. I can't really say anything about the battery life...I've only been using it for 7 hours...but I hear it works for a couple of weeks. Doesn't matter, we plan to take it off when he goes to bed at night and put it back on in the morning. It seems like a safe item, not like a shock collar at all. The vibration doesn't even seem to bother him...he acts like we strapped a toy to his neck and he's trying to figure out why! It was simple to use, just plug it in for a couple of hours, do the easy test they gave instructions for and put it on. It's amazing that he's learned the point of it all in only a few hours. Bless whomever made this thing. Oh yeah...and sizing it to your dog is simple, just measure it when it's on and cut off the excess you don't need. Easy peasy! I recommend this to anyone who is struggling with the noise...join the quiet club...you'll thank me for this review if you do. Have a blessed, quiet day.

Beeping, Buzzing $$ Waste
I have 2 Weimaraners Male & Female. He is a Neutered 3 1/2 year old & she is a Spayed 1 1/2 year old. They don't bark in the house or at the park nor on walks. We live on a corner property down a residential street & they are very protective of the yard. They bark at everything. When standing on the back deck they can see the avenue, the block behind us & a good amount of the block in front of us. They bark at people walking, kids playing, neighbors mowing, bringing in their groceries.... basically everyone they can see. I had hoped this to be the solution because they go in & out of the house on their own as they please. My neighbor had complained to me which is why I got these collas. They worked for about a week at controlling them to stop barking & then they didn't care about them anymore. I went out with them every time I saw them go out. When they barked I would hear their collars go off & I would also correct them at that point by saying no barking. However, they just got used to the beeps & the buzzing vibration & it didn't bother them. I am extremely frustrated by this. I so badly wanted these to work for their barking problem. I didn't want to get a static collar😥 But, I couldn't allow them to continuously disturb the neighborhood. Because these didn't work I had to get SPORTDOG NoBark SBC-R Waterproof Rechargeable Dog Bark Collar from Chewy. It cost me $100.00 dollars each & WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's been 2 weeks now with the static collar & PLEASED TO SAY NO MORE BARKING. After wearing it the first day & me going out with them & correcting them each time they barked along with the startling static shock they caught on immediately. They realized 🤔 If I bark than my collar goes off giving me mild uncomfortableness. It is a teachable Collar like these that increase if they continue barking.. The Collar resets itself to first level after a minute or so of them not barking.. Hiwever, it gets stronger with each continued bark if they don't stop in-between. Dogs are smart & my babies never let it go past level 3 as it goes up higher & higher. They learned very quickly & now it's just a collar that never goes off because they NEVER BARK NOW. They are as happy as they ever were just I believe stress free because they see that I'm stress free. They are AWESOME DOGS that I LOVE Dearly, but the Excessive Barking had to STOP. I didn't even put them on them today & still they didn't even bark once. I figured if they barked I would put them on when they ran back in as they run in & out as they wish..... but they did not bark. Finally a blessing because I didn't want to have them taken away from me because of nuisance barking ❤🐾. I love my fur babies very much. I'm so thankful for SPORTDOG Because these beeping vibration collars were an unfortunate waste of money. Your dog will be startled at first from the beeps & the vibration but it won't stop them after they realize it doesn't hurt them in the slightest. It actually appeared that they liked it the buzzing 🤔 I don't know all I can tell you is what I witnessed & they would just run up & down along the fence....... 2 beeping, buzzing barking dogs🤔 🐕 🐾 ggggrrr aggravating 😳🙈🙉🙊

Kept falling off German Shepard
I’ve had trouble with my German Shepard pups barking. She’s a very vocal dog and has separation anxiety. I’m a stay at home mom right now so I spend all my time taking care of her and my family. The problem is anytime I walk out the door or leave the house she barks, and barks and barks. Her barks are so loud our neighbors upstairs complained to the landlord. There was nothing we could do about her barking when we weren’t home we have to go to the store for groceries or walk outside sometimes without her. Her ear piercing barking was becoming a problem. She is a great dog and doesn’t really bark at night or when we are at home unless she wants something, is playing, or is excited. She just turned one in December we’ve trained her, get on to her when she’s bad and reward her when she good but nothing was helping her barking. We didn’t want her to stop barking all together. We just wanted her not to bark continuously when we are gone or step out for a minute. A shock collar was never going to be an option for us or a muzzle that the landlord and our neighbors said we should get. So I decided to start doing some research and came across this product when it was having a lightning sale. I though what’s the harm in trying it’s on sale and I can always send it back. When we first got it home it took awhile to charge. We adjusted it and put it on our German Shepard pup. After a few barks it’s started vibrating she didn’t know what to think. Each time it vibrated she would lay down pressing her neck into the ground. And she would look around wondering where the beeping would come from. It quieted her down for a bit and we thought this product was it this was our saving grace. She wasn’t barking as much and she knew it was the collar eventually causing the vibrations. We would take it off when we were home and weren’t worried about her barking and would show her the collar when she started getting carried away. I felt like it was working pretty good in the beginning. Overtime I feel like it stopped working as much. Our smart vocal pup would still bark when it was on and show her unhappiness but alittle more quietly. Now that we’ve had it awhile we still put it on her when she starts her barking and she’ll bark though the beeps and vibrations. I’m hoping with time and maturity she will grow out of her separation anxiety and stop the very loud ear piercing barking. There have been times I wanted to return the collar but wasn’t sure if I could or if they would except it back. We still put it on her from time to time and it helps some. We followed all instructions and recommendations for this product. I do recommend trying this collar out for your dog before using a electric collar or muzzle(less cruel). I’m not sure if we would purchase again. It’s a nice concept and I like the collar is using vibrations but it didn’t work for our German Shepard the way we thought it would. She will still make a fuss and bark when we leave with this collar on and doesn’t seem to mind the vibrations and beeps as much. Update: the collar started falling off one day and wouldn’t stay on it ended up getting chewed up after falling off multiple times and I have to try to find a new collar for it if I want to use again. Pretty disappointed I feel I waisted my money since it stop latching properly.
